  • Wal-Mart Crushed: What's Really Going On [View article]

Spewing hate toward WM isn't going to help those who are already invested and need some direction. We may or may not share your viewpoint about the Waltons but there are a lot of people who have families that depend on WM either for paychecks or to save money from buying products.

  • Wal-Mart: Why Investors Need To Be Cautious [View article]
I hope WM employees are smart enough not to fall for the "gotta have the union" trap. If they don't like what WM has to offer then go someplace else. Unions have been trying desperately to get their hooks in WM for a long time and their reason is not for the betterment of the people who work there, but for the union dues that a company with as many employees as WM has would bring.

  • Dividend-Stingy Wal-Mart Was Already On Probation, So What Now? [View article]
I don't know how long you have had WM stocks but I am up 23% as of today and it's rising. If you want to get rid of some stock I'm sure someone like me would be more than happy to fill the gap but if you are holding a stock purely because of dividend yield then you might find something better......for now.

  • Gilead Feels The Heat Of Competition [View article]
Express Scripts has chosen to take the road that offers the cheapest price rather than the safest drug. I don't expect that caring physicians will follow the same road for their patients. Once the news of people having side effects because of this cheaper drug becomes public the pendulum will swing back to reality.

  • Update: Wal-Mart Impresses The Street, But Not Us [View article]
I have heard negative talk about Wal-Mart the store and WM the stock for years now, some of it backed by statistics and educated guesses and some just because they are jealous or don't like the company, but they somehow just keep on making money.

  • Wal-Mart turns the spotlight on its grocery business [View news story]
When you have disgruntled employees making minimum wages, no health insurance because you can only work part-time, very low staffing, and high expectations from their employees, you get a bad formula for success of a company. It also increases the amount of thefts because there are now employees who have to cover at least two departments leaving many departments without anyone to deter shoplifters.

  • Never Quit Growing: Philip Morris International's EPS Are Still Rising [View article]
The title of this article "Never Quit Growing" is interesting. When I first started smoking I was told that the only consequence was that it would stunt your growth. I was 6'2" at the time so I wasn't concerned. I've learned a lot since then about the true health hazards from smoking. Of course, this doesn't mean much to those who are looking to benefit from the demise of others.

  • Is Wal-Mart A Buy Right Now? [View article]
Most of the negatives that we hear about WMT originate from the unions who have been trying to infiltrate the company for years with no success. People who say they hate WMT continue to shop there and this trend has been evident for many years. They will be just fine.

  • After Earnings Miss, Wal-Mart Should Buy Whole Foods [View article]
Kinda hard on a very successful business aren't you? I worked at Walmart for several years and I enjoyed it. Yes, I was part of management, but that doesn't make me their B@%^$, whatever that means. When you try to put them in a box tell the world that they "destroy small businesses" and that "everyone you know that worked at Wal-mart hated it, then you're trying to get everyone to see it as you do. A narrow view point at best. You should try to be more professional with your comments.

  • Obama photo op at Wal-Mart goes sideways [View news story]
Unions, who obtained their political power from union dues, hate Walmart so they will do anything to keep them from getting any good publicity.
