  • Shame On You, Apple [View article]
Perhaps by avoiding taxes Apple is attempting to starve out Android owners, the majority of whom rely on Gov't assistance.

  • The Real Obstacles To Increasing Apple's Share Price [View article]
Apple suppliers and their ability to create the parts for and assemble millions of iProducts have long been a strength and a profit driver, however, I'd love love love to see a state-of-the-art, mostly off-limits to outside eyes Apple plant built right here in the USA with machines and robots turning out these products so quickly, efficiently, and without error that it would make your head spin. Also, the opportunity exists to make it run on something crazy, like wind/solar/bacon grease : )

  • Apple's Path Back To $600: Tougher, But Still Doable [View article]
I'm thinking the watch will be an amped up hands free device, rather than in the ear, on the wrist. Probably a screen showing who is calling, and a little bit of memory and wi-fi capability in case someone wants to wear it independently. It'll be pretty neat and it will certainly sell well, but probably by far not the coolest thing we'll see from AAPL pre-holiday 2013.

Hope everyone realizes on this awful day that the only people hating Apple are the holders of the stock - the holders of Apple products still love this iStuff.

  • Apple Earnings Preview: Can Shares Rebound? [View article]
I think a China Mobile deal would be the catalyst to see 600+. No telling when that deal will happen, but hopefully it will, and soon.

  • iPhones Top Seller In U.S., Japan; Android (Read: Samsung) Winning Everywhere Else; Windows Phone Growing Most In Europe: Kantar [View article]
Regarding AAPL, my bet is the little trick they pulled with Wal-Mart toward the end of the Christmas season mutually benefited both companies, with Wal-Mart picking up the full amount of the discount in order to generate more foot traffic for an otherwise slower holiday season, and AAPL selling a heck of a lot more iPhones. KA-Ching 1/23.

  • Verizon (VZ) states on its Q4 call it activated 6.2M iPhones in Q4, good for 63% of total smartphone activations (up from 46% in Q3, and 56% in the year-ago period). Big Red had previously disclosed it activated 9.8M smartphones in the quarter. CFO Fran Shammo says about half of the iPhone sales involved the iPhone 5 - that remark comes as UBS points to survey data indicating a mix shift towards older and lower-capacity iPhone models. Rookie, unless you're operating your own cell phone network of towers and satellites, we're ALL on an "installment plan" for the next couple of years.

  • Apple Earnings: What To Look For Beyond The Numbers [View article]
"Wall Street is expecting the company to report $56 billion in sales, with earnings per share of $14.20."

Per what source? I show $54.7 billion and $13.41 according to Yahoo Finance.

  • Apple: Where Do Shareholders Go From Here? [View article]
I'd like to see the purveyors of AAPL-related lies called out as they are the cause of most of the recent strife with this stock. That's you, WSJ staff and editors. Some of it is AAPLs fault due to their secrecy and silence - when you have no input into the conversation the other person can say whatever they want as often as they want, and that is what is happening.

  • Apple: Cheaper Phone Means Cheaper Stock? [View article]
"And Apple can't pull off this trick in phones."

Hmmm.... I'd be a little careful with using "Can't" and "Apple" in the same sentence.

If you'd told me 5.5 years ago I'd be holding a telephone made by Apple containing only glass, a metal bezel, and no buttons, I'd say there's no way - they "can't" do that. I would have been wrong : (
