I don't see how the EIA report has anything to do with alternative energy. Or, the relevance of the EIA report to the article written. Barack has a plan for alternative energy, period. Screw the EIA report. Barack understands, and I think the world realizes that the time has come to take alternative (green) energy seriously. Here in the US it's a matter of national security, not to mention the environment. There is a new generation (Barack) of thinkers and doers. They are thinking and doing alternative energy. Oil is your grandfather's energy source. There will always be a space for oil. But the time has come to shrink the space for oil.
The "drill baby drill" mantra is the chant of fools. The EIA report needs to be fashioned into a kite. Then the drill baby drill fools can "go fly a kite baby, go fly a kite"
