Problems That Detroit Bailout I Doesn't Address

The bailout language in the House bill would virtually require government overseeers to force these firms into bankruptcy unless certain conditions are met by March - conditions that seem extremely unlikely. Why would they even agree to this? Are they hoping the new administration will bail out their bailout?

Or is "forced" bankruptcy the real plan? That way neither policians nor executives could be blamed. After all, they tried.
