  • Geithner to Put Chrysler in Bankruptcy Next Week [View article]
Don't forget the UAW workers are tax payers also. We just wanted to be unionized. I worked, YES WORKED, for this benefit for 30 years. You should have unionized your shop or company.
The UAW isn't the bad one in these bad times. The comparing of AIG is off base. Some of those exec's only worked for them for months.
People have a chance to make their voices hard by tell your congressmen and representatives to back the upcoming union check card bill.

  • Why I Take No Issue with the Government Firing GM's Wagoner [View article]
I think the whole pay scale is out of whack! The top execs., actors/ actress, newscasters, pro atheletes, top government officials are all
getting paid to much. It is alright with the above to want a exclusive
wage but when the middle and lower class workers want a fair hourly
wage it is just out rageous. It will get to the point where the middle and lower class won't be able to pay for the products of the above over paid professions. IT'S GETTING REAL CLOSE!!

  • Demand More for Your Auto Bailout Dollar; Oil Patch Should Bounce Back Long Term [View article]
I worked in the auto industry for 35 years. Belonged to 2 different unions, the same 2 each of my parents belonged 2. I was taught to work hard and be honest. The union job I had helped to put 2 daughters through college, and live by a strict budget. I've been laid off during rough times.I worked hard during the times when the economy was going good and saved money. I didn't buy all the toys everyone else had to buy because I wanted to pay "CASH" or not play!! Charging big priced toys got alot of people into trouble which lead to the financial collapse!!!

It has been for years, "how goes Gm, goes the United States!". The auto industry is building the type of trucks and SUVs that the people want. The other foreign auto companies are back by thier countries. The money the american people spend to by foreign autos goes back to the foreign countries.

People need to put the blame where it belongs!!!
