  • Continuing eBay Bullish Spread For More Potential Return [View article]
5 year charts eBay versus AMZN -no contest.

I really wonder about who is really running eBay. Flat for 5yrs. Meanwhile AMZN is up 400+%.

Can you really compare these companies anymore? Kindle etc..

  • eBay's CEO Discusses Q4 2011 Results - Earnings Call Transcript [View article]
I recently went through boxes and sold off old computer parts and I soon found out these PayPal guys are probably the worst company to ever deal with transactions-wise.
I would say they are fraudulent.. scared and desperate. Thompson left as the nightmare begins.

few things to note. 1. In Canada they cut down the size of the files (smaller) due to throttling of bandwidth up here.
    2. if I go over my limit with Roger's (RCI) its 40 dollars more. There is no service faster.

    Rather have the dvd mailed.

Paypal is a loan shark and they just raised their rates.
21 day waiting period for money. Seller's are angry
5-8 day waiting period for some buyers.
This tells me they are increasing the cash flow, which is good.
My prepaid AMEX card ($200) was denied by paypal .lol. and they charged me over a buck every time I tried. Paypal wouldn't refund it over the phone but AMEX did.
Thats what has my alarms going off. 'desperate' comes to mind. Charging for risk is one thing. Charging for no risk.... hmmm.

So, I have only looked at ebay as a 'long' but now wonder how sustainable their growth really is.

    Zak,
Youtube / Google is very much in the game now. Free movies too.

In Canada here for example I could steal the content online for only 85% of the cost. Thats how much bandwidth costs. No deals up here, yet they advertise 'free trial' hehe.

Broken business plan in its current state. No margin. only ones who can are content owners.

    Which will be solved first?
Think I am more prepared to spend 1500 and convert a diesel van to vegetable oil first.
Canada has 175 billion barrels of oil trapped in sand... if a russian can design an assault rifle to fire with sand in the breech (AK-47) maybe we can design a car that runs off oily sand - and sands the roads at the same time in the winter.
On the other hand, if you went to the moon and climbed in the moon buggy. Would it start first try?
As long as fast food exists, America would always have domestic fuel source. When costs go up - eat more fries and chicken nuggets - supply problem solved..
