Of course! Losses are public & gains are private. People flipped houses and pocketed the profits tax free. And the last house they defaulted and gave the losses to the tax payers. Banksters pocketed all the fees, made a tonne of money and when things went sour, fleeced us for billions. What can you expect when you have a crooks running the government. They need money - banksters have it. They need votes - unions have them.
