Agree with you Jason. Whereever you turn people are ready to confiscate your hard earned money. You save and make downpayments, live within your means, and they look to you for your money to distribute to those who waste & live in lavish homes. Banksters get billions, and the frugal savers get shafted. Here in California they are raising already high taxes to balance a bloated budget and to support legions of beauracrats.
