Google Releases a Nuke, Apple Won’t Win This Fight [View article]
Learn a bit more about Apple review process before claiming Apple is flat out lying to the FCC: lots of apps get "rejected" during the review process, but this does not mean that these apps will never be accepted once the developers revise them based on Apple's feedback. Hence, rejected apps in this review process are not necessarily forbidden apps... This is likely the reason why Apple can claim it continues to study Google's app. It's up to Google to comply with Apple's app requirements to get its app approved!
How Soon Can Apple's Market Cap Surpass Microsoft's? [View article]
I have been using only Macs since 1996, and the last time one of my Macs got infected by a virus was in 1997: the virus was embedded in a Word Office Macro... and it infected our whole department in less than a week. We were running Mac OS 7.6 at the time, and had to install some anti-virus software though the macro virus was the only one ever detected.
All my Macs have been running Mac OS X since 2001, and I never installed any anti-virus software on them and they never got infected. The argument that no one would create a virus to attack less than 10% of the OS market is fallacious because they were a few viruses before OSX was released and the Mac market share at that time was not much better than now.
I'm also sure there are few hackers who would have been proud to be known as the first to create a virus for Mac OS X. Explain to me why this did not happen yet... The only logical reason is that OSX is far more secure than any version of Windows...

The Mac mini may not make sense to you, but it may for many of us: in this time of economical crisis, some people (in particular switchers) may not want to buy an all-in-one computer while they already have a good display, keyboard and mouse. That's one of the reasons the mini has been successful so far. This new version gets better (in particular in terms of graphics and ports) and uses much less power. This makes the Mac mini an even better wireless home server, and the perfect solution when space is limited (eg, labs). My 4 year old G4 Mac mini connected to my TV will retire soon... though it is still in good shape despite working 24/24. No Netbook can replace my Mac mini...
Buy, Sell or Hold: Apple's Cohesive Strategy to Survive and Thrive [View article]
Google phone is not revolutionary, the iPhone is... Freedom is not an indication of success, stability or security, look at Linux with less than 1% market share... In defense of Apple's closed system: Apple has a much tighter control of iPhone's quality, stability, and security, which is what enterprises look for. Competition is always good, but long-term Apple is likely to do much better than its competitors because it actually has a vision. When you recognize that, AAPL is definitely a buy.
