  • Why We Are Short Tekmira [View article]
Wow is this a racial hit piece on Africans too. Poor dumb undertrained Africans can't insert an IV. Africa is so backward they have no nurses, doctors etc. What a total crock of sh*t! Not only that but Tekmiras' lypholized drug is perfect for transportation and storage before use.

I guess the genius who wrote this piece is smarter than all of the real
analysts who researched in depth and came up with wildly higher estimations of value based on all Tekmira programs other than ebola. What a short douche!

I think it's also the effect of so many hit pieces being allowed on SA. It's really a turn off when some unknown person with few or no credentials does a hit piece, with twisted facts, on a company because they represent short interests and are trying to influence trading in that direction. It brings SA right down to the level of Yahoo's message boards. I read SA less and less as time goes by. So do others. Jason is one of the few remaining bright spots on SA.

My God! Logical Thought is dense. A huge case of cognitive dissonance and duplicitous information.

  • The Next Debt Default Is America's 4th, Not 1st Time: Therein Lies A Treasury Trade. [View article]
Agree completely with your take on the government/bullion bank axis of Evil and the eventual correcting of the ledger. Definitely many players involved coordinating for the current profits as they sweep the price up and down. It's amazing that anyone plays against them to lose time and time again. If you aren't one of the Boyz then you are definitely at peril.

It's interesting to see so much physical supply taken off the market by Asian nations including the Middle East. It certainly creates an interesting future outcome for those who hold physical. The question is will US/European holders be the recipients of an excess profits tax or outright confiscation. The increasingly statist Western governments that now exist may do absolutely anything to maintain control and continue their version of the status quo.

I hope this is the first of many more of your insights. Keep up the good work.

Avery great to see you writing again after a long hiatus. Excellent article that deserves wide dissemination. Most Americans won't sit still long enough to read something this thorough and the Seeking Alpha platform is small.

I'm sure you've been following the metals manipulation that is ongoing in the PM markets. It's certainly lasted longer than anyone has predicted and against the normal economic catalysts that should send them to the upside. I hope you saw the article being disseminated today regarding the mechanics of the manipulation and how they are implemented. I believe Ted Butler has just figured out how they are doing it. Here's a link through Ed Steers blog.

  • JP Morgan Chase $2 Billion Derivatives Loss Illustrates Toxicity Of Casino-Banking [View article]
Whoa! I'm a PM aficionado and heavily invested but I'll fall off my chair if we see those numbers or anything close. If you're anywhere near correct I'll come to Colorado and take you out to the finest restaurant in Fort Collins. I've digested a lot of PM cheer leading all over the Web so I'm a bit leery until I see the Cartel cover their shorts and run long. Since the current administration is hell-bent on being re-elected I can see them working in concert to keep the price down until at least after the election.

In regards to platinum I think the cartel could be accumulating platinum at the lowest price possible because they see the same supply restrictions and demand factors you describe. Thanks for reply. Much appreciated.

Avery do you have any comment on why Platinum which you touted strongly seems to be getting whacked more than it should. Especially when South Africa seems like such a basket case and supply should be at risk. Thanks. You write some great articles by the way.

  • More Cuts for Greece, But the Euro Isn't Impressed [View article]
Oh No! The people were not in on the largesse. One out of every three
Greeks is on the public payroll. Pension and retirement at 61 mandatory. Long vacations, payed health care etc. etc.

The people voted in and are getting exactly what they deserve. They did this because they were promised a perfect society. They will have to pay for it in a hard way just like the pension tidal wave and unfunded liabilities that are headed our way in the USA. Also yes the elites get away with what they are allowed to get away with helped by
the elites in government. Oh! That's right Greece is exceptionally socialist. So it's the benevolent socialist left that's creating the perfect society they have now. The same road the USA is taking at an accelerated pace. There's plenty of blame to spread around without linking and promoting the views of a populist demagogue.
