Where can it come from? The Canadian shield, create a future mine ETF 1000 miles by 1000 miles by 10 miles deep. Never remove the gold just sell shares in levels to represent the future cost of mining the gold at each depth. Variable price structure all the way through, mix and match any value for tradable products. Gold at $600 or $6000 or $60,000 could be traded in this structure without taking it out of the ground. Storage solved, damn hard to steal it too.

  • Bernanke Delivers Knockout Punch To Bonds - Mistakenly [View article]
They say never fight the FED but being dead center of the Baby Boom I would say not even the FED can fight that mass. The Boom has bent everything in it's path all my life. Most BBer use GIC's and Ben has robbed them of any savings right when they want to retire. This group is the future of income and it's going to be at a lower level no matter what the FED wants. Starving them now will cause them to cut back big time. They need higher interest rates to feel comfortable in spending some savings, and as time passes this retired group will become the only economy reduced as it is.

Force the banks to lend ?.... In Canada we are over 160% disposable income. Yards are full of Boats, 5th wheels, ATVs, snowmobiles, multiple sat dishes, Big trucks and second cars in the driveway. Inside multiple 60 inch flatscreens, new furniture. With CAD at par everyone vacations in Mexico, on and on.

We have everything you would normally borrow for now. If this finally breaks were will they find anyone with a good credit rating to loan to?
