I'm British, I've travelled widely throughout Europe and Asia (living there now, just like Jim Rogers) and I am retired from my original profession as a software contractor in banking(UK).

I used to trade in Asian stocks for years but pulled everything out in 2007 just before The Great Event, losing nothing. After the financial crisis and much investigations into economics, I decided to watch the clock and spend my time more usefully employed watching the American economy, because this is much more fun. Consequently I've developed a deep interest in geopolitical economic events which have a large effect on the markets, and I also have a natural tendency now to support tangible assets such as silver and gold rather than fiat currency plays. Call me careful if you like, but I really hate casinos...
