The Long Case for Western Union: Like Wiring Money Into Your Portfolio

A little late, but I'll bring a few continents into the mix to back-up Hilary.
I grew up in Tanzania, East Africa --> we all know what WU Money transfers are there. If TZ knows, so does Kenya...etc...Hence, WUMT's are likely a household name in Western Africa as well (Nigerian's and Ghanaians make up a significant portion of the population here - and have families back home).

Being British, and having travelled thru Europe, I think WUMT's are known there as well. Mike, perhaps the unbiased sample of everyone in your office isn't such an accurate portrayal of the whole country of China (just as me being an accurate authority on the continent of Europe and countries in Eastern Africa is!), but it might be worthwhile to poll those who have had experience with overseas travel/work and hence the need to have funds moved over shores...

A lot of people in the US might not know what they are - since knowledge of it is a function of the need for it. If you buy groceries and see the yellow/black sticker or sign anywhere - chances are it is being used often enough for the service to be offered - local Acme or Krogers for example.
