By 2008 ERI grew to $50 million in revenues and 26% EBITDA margin. Despite the market downdraft, GG led ERI through a very successful NASDAQ IPO in July 2008 (symbol ERII) which raised close to $120 million and created shareholder liquidity with a share market value of over $400 million.
Effective with the IPO, GG was elected to the ERI Board of Directors. In early 2011 GG stepped down as ERI CEO and did not stand for re-election when his ERI Board term expired in June 2011.
Before 2000, GG was part of the US Filter, " Heckmann Gang" who did a roll-up of 163 companies in the water industry and sold the business to Veolia for some $7 Billion.
GG is now a professional investor with a stake in a handful of public and private companies.
