How is a P/E of 35.37 compared to the industry average of 25.48 better?

  • Petroleum Geo-Services: Strong Industry Trends And A 40-50% Valuation Discount [View article]
This company's ship and streamer technology give it an edge in seismic processing which is always a big plus when investing in a stock. Also, this stock pays a small dividend each year. Since this company choose to delist from the New York Stock Exchange due to cost, it just doesn't get a lot of love being on the pink sheets. Thanks for the article.

  • Why Kimberly-Clark Will Fall To The Low $70s [View article]
This article must be prepared based on a formula instead of actual analysis. As Iwitham points out, since when is $71 "just below" the current $85, that's 17% "just below" statement. Then, there is the "we think the firm is attractive below $53" . . . is that a joke? I can't think of many top tier quality companies, such a KMB, that would not be "attractive" at a 38% drop from yesterday's closing price.

  • Cramer's Lightning Round - Deere In The Headlights (3/7/12) [View article]
Anyone that does not do their own research based upon anothers 15 second sound bite is an idiot! I have made a lot of money off of Cramer's principles (books) and general guidance, but always made my own decisions of buy and sell ALWAYS on my own research.

  • Annaly Capital: Risks Have Been Reduced Thanks To Recent Events [View article]
I like this article, but like other commenters, feel that taxation for REITs not being even mentioned is a glaring oversight in this article. Mardo, could you supplement?

  • If You Own Them, Sell These 5 CEFs As Soon As Possible [View article]
Todd, interesting article. I have a fairly large (for me anyway) holding in DNP and I think I am a little blinded by that sweet monthly distribution! I intend to do more research based on your posting.

  • Interview With Don Luskin: Market Predictions From the Founder of TrendMacrolytics [View article]
In response to "The Democrats still want to raise taxes, but now it's in the name of deficit reduction. A year ago it was in the name of providing education for everyone, healthcare for everyone, a house for everyone, everything for everyone. Soak the rich." . . .just like the Republicans always want to cut taxes, they always give a differant reason but its aways the same tune.

  • Cramer's Mad Money - 5 Reasons Why Warren Buffett Is Stupid (3/2/11) [View article]
Was this entire article done "tongue in cheek" hence the quote "if fools are making money, then give stupitiy a chance." I don't think Warren is perfect but I would take his portfolio performance history any day of the week . . .of should I say month, year, decade.

  • 4 Stocks Going Ex-Dividend the Fourth Week of November [View article]
DNP Select is a monthly dividend payer! Check it out, it pays $0.065 per share every month (;range=1y), that is $0.195 per qtr and an annual dividend of $0.78 per share. At current price of $10.11 per share, that is a 7.7% annual dividend, but you don't have to wait for that quarterly div, you get your slice of the pie every month! The stock value has increased since since I took my position in DNP so my div on investment is more like 9.3%.
