Canada will struggle. We are their biggest trading partner so if the US is hurting then the pain will spread. Having said that, will property suffer like is has in the US - probably not. Canada should be fortunate enough to catch the house price rises due to inflation, caused as a result of printing of more greenbacks.

I agree but would also add that MCD is very well positioned to gain market share as our view on food changes to being what we can afford as opposed to what we like to eat. People like to go out to eat but they can't always afford to go out to eat in the fanciest joints.
