  • Smart Money Is in Precious Metals, But a Local Top Is Close [View article]
In the event the FED raised rates the dollar will go up and the gold will go down. There is no uncertainty about this. How long they will be at zero, is anyone's guess.

  • Upside GDP Surprise: Misleading  [View article]
It seems in general Americans are so self absorbed in their moment by moment sensual pleasures, they rarely if ever try to see what is being done to them. It is pathetic.

Yes we are in a GREATER HOLE than when the ---- hit the fan. Glad someone is telling it like it is. Put the fraudsters and politicians who support them in jail where they belong; they are billions of time worse the Bernie Madhoff.

  • Market Death Spiral Continues [View article]
You said it correctly... THE KARMA of decades of exploitation is swinging back on the USA very hard, very fast, and there is no manipulation or PR that will stop it.

  • Lower Markets Are Still to Come [View article]
I do not have a clue if the markets have bottomed. I see an awful lot of very good businesses being sold for next to nothing now. One would think that use of energy is going to cease altogether and everyone is going to stop eating, sleeping, mating and defending. Be careful, the darkest hour is just before the dawn.

  • Mid-Year Report: Is a Summer Turn-around Still Possible? [View article]
I do not agree that oil is rising due to speculation. There is certainly the law or supply and demand in effect; Anyone who can't see this must be blind. Also, there are so many trillions of USD sitting in far away places, earning nothing and seeing their buying power go down moment by moment. Is it not wiser to buy something you can use, whether it be iron, manganese, oil, wood, cement, anything is better than the USD

Can't argue with this.. Albeit I remain long the C$ trust which are paying me nicely whether the shares go up or down, and being mostly energy related, I expect to see dividend increasing as they sign new supply contracts at currently market prices.

  • Payrolls Drop - And You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet [View article]
Thanks for good information, which is not in the least surprising knowing how the bank industry has ripped off the world for the past years selling all their poison kool-aid loans. I do not see this as an "ordinary recession", rather it is the reaction to overt and criminal greed on the part of an industry, and the whole world will pay, but especially the USA. If, the US Govt stopped wars of aggression, and stopped maintaining bases in 144 countries, and kept this money in use nationally building our own infrastructure and education and health, it would make huge difference.

  • The Fed is Deflating: 10 Reasons Why  [View article]
Thanks for a very well written and thought out article. It is a bit over my head too, but I am trying to digest it. Personally, I cannot see the FED supporting deflation for long, and obviously they don't want rapid inflation either; they want equilibrium-stability, which is difficult to achieve when greed and fear, rather than common sense and ethics rule man's conscience.

  • Will Credit Market Flight to Safety Boost Stock Prices? [View article]
I am not buying US treasuries. I am buying gold, silver, and oil which are not printed by anyone. My faith in the US Government and W-Street is below zero. The system is rigged.

  • Market Outlook: Watch Out, the Signs Can Be Deceiving [View article]
I agree with Rene Cohrt. The system is collapsing. I don't trust any so-called rally. I believe all the banks, brokers and mortgage companies are in very very deep trouble and either will fail or require massive amounts of new capital. I trust gold, silver, and energy that is not printed on a printing press.

I can't say whether you are right or wrong for the next thirty days, but I am quite sure we are going to go down a lot further this year before we see any permanent base formed.

  • 5 Reasons to Save the Greenback [View article]
I don't believe any intervention can save the USD, not do I believe trying to save it is the proper action. What can save the USD #1 balanced budgets, incentives for manufacturing in the USA rather than in every place except the USA, and higher import tarrifs on all imported materials, making the goods made locally competitive. As long as trade and budget deficits are in excess of $2.5 Billion per day, the situation is hopeless.

I see so much value right now, particularly in the miners, energy, and in the oversold highly profitable tech companies, that I cannot see the selling continuing much longer in these. The world has not ended!
