How Do Consumers Choose Wi-Fi Hotspots?

Yep... I still think there's a business model here but I'm thinking wi-fi providers will need to differentiate on a service level by adding value in some unique way with respect to hotspot locations. Free wi-fi with gift cards, opt-in email promotions unique to specific location etc.
