Why is it the bottom of the ladder gets stepped on the most they have made concessions in the last ten years. N A F T A and government regulations. We have retirees and pensioners do you not want that or do you want to work your whole life and then drop. I want a strong america maybe we should tax the foreign auto companies more to equal up to us. Where will be the future jobs if we would support america we would have work.

Everybody just think about yourself dont think about the country. I am sure if we need some help all the foreign companies would rally for us. I mean they help us all the time dont they.

Hundreds of billions in lost tax revenues for schools, public safety, sanitation and other vital services. Health care and pensions in jeopardy for more than 1 million retirees. Billions in health care and pension costs passed on to taxpayers if Congress does not act and Chrysler, Ford or GM are unable to pay. Auto industry = 4 percent of U.S. GDP, 10 percent of U.S. industrial production by value. One in 10 U.S. jobs is linked to the auto industry. The current recession could become a depression if one or more major automakers is allowed to fail.
