Screw your carbon footprint hysteria. I say burn more oil. Its comming by the chance to make a good buck. These guys can generate Oil @ $20 a barrel. The EV1 was killed by cheap oil and cheap oil will kill the EV2 or Nissan Leaf. You think big Oil will just roll over and let algea and some tree hugging ,sky is falling hype, gonna cut them out of the pie?
Obama wants more coal burning power plants. The US generates way more tax $$$ than would with Neuclear. Just look what he did by killing The huge loan To (USU) Suse inc. USU uses the Neuclear from decommissioned Nukes and sells to 70% of the market. Obama wants to kill Neuclear. Just think buring a few tons of spent Neuclear fuel is way lees destructive than strip minning the country side for coal. Algae is hopeful but too many generations of being viable.
And drive less? Hell I might go out and just run my company paid for Jeep Comander with paid for gass in the parking lot ihn your honnor.
E cars are great for YOU, I'll keep my muscle cars thank you. Oil is not going anywhere. Get used to it!
Good job on the book! My thesis was on the Global warming farse. I gaind most of my information working the last 12 years at the Johnson Jet propulsion Labs. You are a puppet of the far left that has not been able to bring down capitalisism and now have found a home in the name of enviromnental causes. Cushy causes here in the US, Let me see you make a stand in Calcutta or dare ask China to cut back, Hell no they are given a pass. America is going under a p.c. brainwashing inorder to bring us down to the level of Others in the World that do not want to raise themselves up. Lowest Common Denomenator mentality. It sells real good on the campaing trail. Obama is great at running for President, but sucks at being a president.

  • USEC Inc.: Uranium Play With A Bright Future Ahead [View article]
China is looking to build 20 plants and the Southern Company is a big part of that. Its good for neuclear. Lets all sit back and let the bedwetting green peace types have thier way for another 10 years while China becomes the poster child for rational thinking. They will always be behind the US as an economic power such as they are now and were back in the 1900s. We will learn from them.
Neuclear is comming to the US. Obama is NOT a friend of Neuclear power due to his voting base of ignorant supporters. I think the vast majority of Americans want this energy source.
I like this stock as well as ccj.

  • Will the U.S. Mortgage Market Keep PMI Group Down?  [View article]
John, anyone, help me understand. Is this PMI the same PMI, Principal morgage insurance, an individual would have been required to pay if they did not put down the 20% down payment on a home purchase?
I've always wondered where the PMI payments went, and wouldn't it insulate Morgage companies from losing out on a foreclosure.
If This PMI company is the ultimate one holding the bag for bad loans, why all the crisis talk.
You can not get a loan TODAY! and expect to get a 90,95, 100% morgage. PMI will not be getting any new customers since that segment of the population will no longer be able to purchase a home beyond thier means. A flush out and death of PMI group?
    Looking for clairity

  • What If Fannie and Freddie Could Go Private? [Housing Tracker] [View article]
I'm not smart enough to figure this out. Bad home loans at 85% to 115% of selling price would have required PMI, Remember that stuff?I paid it on my first home and financed out of that scam with in the second year. These people paid to cover the banks risk in a crappy loan. Wheres the pay off. Shouldn't these be backed by an insurance policy in the case of a foreclosure? I har nothing on this. Or is one of the biggest insurance scams perpetrated on American soil?
I tried to bring some cash back into America, You know there is a 35% tax on that? Leaving it parked. Stupid of America. Uncle SamBo realy help the crisis..Eliminate, yes I said ELIMINATE the capital gains tax on investment property. How fast do you think homes would be gobbled up? A week, maybe 10 days? Just like them not lifting the gas tax when we were all crying about gas prices. Government acts so slow to dead when it comes to cutting taxes, but sure can wear out a printing press like a teen ager wrecks a new car.
No serious, e-mail me about PMI and where did it vaporise. tcd60 at yahoo

  • Trump Entertainment Heading for Bankruptcy Hat Trick [View article]
I just like how he is sounding off like a stick pig in the arse.
Slamming the banking industry for investing my tax money in overseas banks to shore up thier books. Alot of truth to that! How in God name will a poor sap behind in 3 morgage payment will ever get any of this bail out money? Maybe we all should just stop paying our morgages. The Donald got the hand out door slammed in his face and now crying like a child. Hate it! He tried to play both sides of the political fence, he just is not that important.
FYI you know trump has been a nd stil is very active buying property, Blood in the streets. He wants a tax payer bail out, they kicked him out of line.

I feel the biggest problem was allowing the masses to have acess to credit they should have never been allowed to do. Sorry if that hurts someone's feeling but its true and dumped many into the residential markets increasing the demand thus driving the price of the supply through the roof. Hell I doubled the value of two home with in a 6 year period. I'm talking about a $250K home into $500K in Atlanta within two years, yes a bank gave a lawyer the load. Another $250K home in Birmingham and sold for $60K...That is nuts. It took my parents 30 to own thier home. Inflation and unlimited funds with an open door. The US was a house of cards and its in the falling mode. Values have plumeted and th financial market have a black eye....totaly recoverable. Eliminate the capital gains tax to home purchases TODAY. Supply will disapear in days. Banks have no business in owning homes. I have 4 new ones around me in the $900K+ range and no one will touch em. Bad for the neighborhood vacant homes no body wants.

My excuse is i'm too lazy to use spell check.
Absorb the ods not become the librairian!
Its been tanking since Regan. Bush Clinton Bush again all inherited the most economisc stimulous in history of the modern man...since 1940's. Clinton/Reno sueing Microsoft was the turning point. Like letting your 16 year old drive your Ferrari. Giving loans to those that had no reason getting a loan. I feel sorry for Obama, but will enjoy from the side lines.
And ya just gotta love ole Greenspan with his, "Irrational Exuberance". Weeks befor that he stated that the Fed " does not make policy due to the conditions on wall street",,,,,Bull $hitt !!!! He poked a dern hole in it!
    I'm out of debt! You?

  • December Brings Better Housing News, But Still No Signal of True Bottom [View article]
I can only pray people in power read this stuff.
Want to solve the housing quagmire and look like a savior? Mr. Obama PLEASE lift,... ALL...the capital gains tax on any home bought over the next 3 months. Yes there is no money to be lent, but the housing supply would dry up with in....say how many days? 4-7 if that. I went to an auction in the Birmingham area and saw a book full of $10K and less homes being sold on the steeps. I could have bought a block of homes with my home equity, but home after home went with out a bid. The nice $250K and above got bids, but the banks retracted the amount and sitting on em. Mexican stand off !

  • 60 Minutes: On Speculators and Commodities [View article]
Thats whats wrong with the populas of dumbmasses. I saw the show and was intrigued. It did give me some thought, but the little educated guy in the back of my head was saying there is enough competition that these guys were taking a calculated risk. It could have gone south on them.
It still amazes me that gas prices rose so fast and dropped just as quick. Supply and demand will prevail the speculative stories. When Hydgron hits the market Opec will be dead just like the dinosaurse they are pumping dry. The part I hate is that this WILL occure on Obama's watch. He will capitalize on this and be seen as the savior.
I too have ben making Hydgron gas as for fun with a glass of water a car battery and battery charger. The stuff is so much more explosive than gas and it is being done...All over America in basements and across Europe and Asia!!
Now if AIG would get a nice bounce in the next year !!
    Amen

Amen User 329791 give AIG some breathing room. A deal is still a deal even if its a bartering one. They already have had a tranfusion, now don't suffocate the efforts. The CEO is earning his pay these days. If he can turn this around he will comand many more times what he is getting paid today. God bless these guys.

Yes the CEOs do make some bucks, but they are gonna make that from any number of companies. AIG is lucky to have em. Instead of being a bed wetter, take 3Million dollars and buy some stock, TODAY! $1.50...If this pulls out and the stock gets back up to the $30-$40 range, are you as guilty as the CEO for making a buck. The risk is there for the taking. Orportunty is knocking, stop bitching about such pedestrian issues and wake up or go away.

AIG has our million dollar life insurance, Term, big deal, I can do business with any number of companies. At sub $150 per share is this a good buy. Will the US help prop up this dog a third btime or let Mr Marketb eat its lunch. WAMU took my wifes company for 1.3 Billion, No government bail out. What make anyone sure AIG will get a third feeding at the taxpayer's trough? I want to inves for short term gains, but looks like the life supports are not working.
