VERY interesting comments as usual. Responding to some of the posters: Saudi Arabia is DEPLETING there supply with INCREASING alarm. So, I don't think they will be the player Venezuela may be. Buying paper gold (GLD) and the rest is LUNACY! Period. huskerbob has it right! Any self-respecting gold bug KNOWS this.

Dan Pritch: You are correct that there may be downside to gold in the VERY SHORT TERM, but over the next 6-24 months gold will be in four-digit territory and rising, and oil will be in the 140's. For Mikeylikesit and John A. All the gold mined in the world--how much space would it take if it all could be put in one place? Well, use this as a guide: The Washington monument is 55x55 feet at its base, and 555 feet tall. All the gold in the world would only reach ONE THIRD of the way up that monument. So, mikey, do so research before you attempt to tell us gold bugs anything about gold. You put your money into your pillowcase if you use one, and I'll buy gold. For you John, keep doing what your doing...you'll be pleased in 3-4 years, when gold is 4 digits...with the first digit being anybody's guess! Have a blessed day!

A Gold Bull Stops Running

To those of you who made comments above, its obvious there's a lot of "yellow talent" here. Me, I'm just buying gold/silver at opportunistic prices. Heck, I'll follow it (buying) as far down as it wants to go, because when gold/silver turn the corner--and it will in 2008--its gonna be F-U-N, F-U-N, F-U-N!
