State Budget Gaps and Investment Implications

Thanks for this analysis. I am learning. Where I am, the state legislature is now solidly Democratic, and they can do whatever they want for their constituencies. When the voters contend with the new level of taxation, the Dems may get tossed out, and the Reps don't want to appear to be deadbeats. My bonds are held by a reputable mutual fund company. Because I'm not sure where else would be safe to put that money, I'm leaving it there for now, but maybe I should dollar-cost out and put it in energy-saving work on my house? It's a tough call.
