    Leveraged ETFs look to me much like short-term car insurance policies on rental cars: you don't want to use it, you hope it goes to zero, and if you're going to do it long-term, there are better options to go about doing it (like, well, options). Best approached in small doses, for temporary periods lasting about as long as you'd pay for car insurance...

    A slight daily tracking error is no problem at all - for day traders. A slight daily tracking error that compounds daily is a serious problem for anyone whose strategy involves a longer time horizon.
