  • The Silver Bull Market Is Over [View article]
Mark, please explain why you have traded your silver for gold and not platinum. Pt has not had the run of gold. You are assumedly selling silver because of its run. So, why not Platinum ???

I like your comment on education costs. If I go to the effort to save for a year of college for my 4 year old (which wasn't child's play) in SPY, I'm just playing the lottery. In this circumstance, I'd be better off in a metals basket (Pt, Au, Ag, Cu). The Chinese would agree (note to author).

Mark, I completely disagree with your conclusions, merely a guess on your part, but you are certainly entitled to them. Either way, my 4 year old looked at your picture and commented that you need to go on a diet. No offense man, just sayin.....

  • With bin Laden dead, what's next? What's changed? Short-term, the U.S. must brace for the possibility of retaliation, and oil markets could see increased volatility. Long-term, the U.S. must decide whether to "press the advantage" in the Mideast or begin to pull back. For Obama, the political glow could last until Nov. 2012, but much can happen in 18 months.  [View news story]
I think we all feel exactly this way, to give it all up to be a Navy seal and do this greatness , like killing Hitler... as good as it gets. That's what makes America great, and us great Americans,

  • The Silver Correction Is Over, Next Stop $62 [View article]
Now, you are set for a 'short killer' situation much like the stock market was and has been the past 2 years. It was too easy to own and hold SPY. I would be very, very nervous today if I were a silver short, all you have is a chart (MOVING AVERAGES MEAN SQUAT HERE) to look at and give yourselves solace, and JPM backing you to work off a ten year short position). We, the people of the world are loading to the hilt with the physical element. We are not as levered as the US Treasury... that is for damned sure.

  • President Obama is due to address the nation in a late-night statement in five minutes as U.S. networks including Fox and ABC report Osama bin Laden is dead. Updated 11:35 p.m.: Obama has begun speaking.  [View news story]
My plan: cremate the moFo at hi temperature like our citizens he cremated. Take the ashes: make some doormats and such and impregnate with his ashes. And put 'em around so that we can walk on this assholes's remains. I just waited 4 + hours at the NJ DMV to renew my driver's license yesterday, and I'd wait 2 X that to walk on that motherfucker's ashes. Rot in hell Osama.

  • Silver is plunging in early trading Sunday evening, -12.1% at $42.73. No particular news, but there is (make that was) a lot of air underneath the price. Ed Bradford at Full Carry notes the metal was trading 88% above its 200 day moving average. Gold is spared any damage thus far.  [View news story]
Send it way down at once so that I can load it up on all barrels. Weak hands ? Few of these at this point unless the market crashes ala' 2008. My plan: SLV calls any month when slave down 5 + %. This is easy.

  • What's in the iShares Silver ETF? Silver! [View article]
My opinion, when at al possible from the US Mint. Good solid investments, can get lucky, will never, ever get screwed, unless you by at the high. When they sell silver, gold, platinum. n Buy it if PN's are in a Bull market (now).

    If you are risque,
Via Ebay PCGS/ NGC Graded coins- always solid. Get em while they're hot. Liquid like Pink Floyd.

KITCO silver/ gold/ platinum account if you have lots of money.

    Get it on.

I agree that the peak will be very "high". One couldn't begin to properly speculate on what that will be though because it is dollar based.

Manipulation (down silver for decades), not mentioned. Dollar devaluation ( to prime the pump) not mentioned. Gold relative parity (with silver) not mentioned. Stock market manipulation (Fed) not mentioned. Just your opinion that trends must be broken. You are so off base Mr. Gold.

  • McDonald's (MCD) and its franchisees hire 62K people at an employment event this month, 24% more than originally planned. The company received more than 1M applications, thus making it easier to get into Harvard then snagging a job at Mickey D's, Zero Hedge wryly notes.  [View news story]
This country is screwed. Not me too I hope...
