Aid for the Automakers? You Decide!

Do I agree with the auto bail out? No. Look - Times are tough for all of us. But we, as a country, can't afford to bail out every company who is or will fall victim to our struggling economy. Even if we did bail the 'Big Three' out, who is going to buy these new cars? Current employment forecasts are grim to say the least. Do you really think that people are going to spend what little money they have on a new car? Buying a new car is a sign of success. I just don't hear too many people these days saying their economic picture is all that successful or stable. So, what would we be buying with this bail out? More cars that they can't sell? Then what? Another bailout because they can't sell their product? It makes no sense at this time to bail out the auto industry - unless we want to throw good money after bad.
