Chris Bouffard has been the Chief Investment Officer of The Mutual Fund Research Center® since January of 2013. He is responsible for directing the Research Center’s investment manager research and managing the firm’s asset allocation models. He brings 20 years of experience to the role, most recently as Vice President of Portfolio Research at American Century Investments. Previously, he was Manager of Closed-End Fund Products and Research at Lipper, a Thomson Reuters company. He is a CFA charterholder, a member of the CFA Institute, and a member, as well as past president, of the CFA Society of Kansas City. Mr. Bouffard graduated from The University of Vermont.
