"Until real change comes to SunEdison, it is definitively not a value buy."

One item of concern: if the Torrance refinery is so lucrative and profitable, why did Exxon sell it? I understand they were subject to massive harassment by the Mexifornian Bolshevik regulators who hate fossil fuels.

  • Buy Blue Chip Stocks Before They Become Blue Chip Worthy [View article]
These are all bland, popular, fully priced stocks. You will not get rich holding them long term at these prices with modest investments. If you are going to invest in these tired, over-priced market darlings, you should wait until there is a severe crash or selloff and then load up. For large capital gains, one must accept more risk and buy temporarily unloved quality stocks like SUNE.

I just backed up the truck @ $7. This selloff is a gift from God. Their numbers will only get better. If they were at $32 with poor numbers, imagine where they will be when the numbers get really good. If they just get back to where they were, it's a four bagger at today's closing price.

Well now that you have been converted from a short term trader to an investor, time to average down. SUNE won't be this low for long.

  • It's Time To Double Down On Wynn Resorts [View article]

  • SunEdison drops 11.7%, makes new 52-week lows [View news story]
Hedge funds are insular and often exhibit herd behavior. Many hedge funds bought SUNE in the high twenties and low thirties. Now they are stampeding and panic selling although this is novice investor behavior. They should be holding tight and waiting out this short term selloff. Short sellers are aggravating the situation. Buying at current prices will probably be very rewarding in the next few years.
