The calm before the storm... Prime, ARM, etc resets pick up in 3 months. Sure, the loans made in the past 6 months will be profitable, but good luck finding employed people to make their higher monthly payments! We're now at 10% unemployment. And no one was unemployed before the first crash. Lost decades here we come!

China Is Now in Firm Control of U.S. Debt Markets

They follow cycles. They see everything as a cycle. We (westerners) were pulled from this process by "the will of God" of Abrahamic religions and the enlightenment idea of "progress" which is a linear approach to a goal. Meanwhile in Asia, religions like Buddhism and Taoism stressed the natural balance created by cycles. That is their advantage.

Will Consumers Line Up for the Next iPhone?

As a 1G owner, I am pining for this new phone. Long have my friends made fun of me for being frugal. Now I will leapfrog their Blackberry Storms. The rumored updates will again make it the crowning achievement.

The tablet, I am not so sure about. I've worked with tablets before. Novel yes, useful no. Unless it has a laser keyboard and a stand or some kind of on-screen full keyboard, it won't get past novelty.

Nice pun. But BMW proves that the only way to succeed aside from having nice front AND back ends is an nice front end and an ugly back end. The justification is that more cars see your front end than your back end while driving. (Only the car behind you sees it) Everyone else going the other way sees the front.

This guy is a moron. 802.11n is far closer to inclusion into the iphone platform. With that, you'll be able to get your streaming music. Given that satellite music is much more limited and expensive than internet streams, you have a satellite music killer. This guy is just trying to talk up his long position.
