What Microsoft's Bing Might Cost Google [View article]
Very interesting article Seeking Alpha. I think Google has / had a monopoly on the advertising internet platform and this is healthy search/advertising competition. This will be much better for the end user whichever Giant dominates.

I have noticed myself in regards to the videos now appearing on Google.com for many different searches and have to admit they (nearly) have it right. I think in some cases they have overdone it though and too many video (mainly from YouTube ahem!) results show up. In regards to the relevance I have found them to be correct and more useful than some of the "normal" search results but not in all cases! Microsoft's and Google's Offer to Verizon - Who will win? Article
I reckon Verizon will probably taken on Microsoft's offer, especially due to what happened with Google. Google is predominately an ad company but as so innovative they appear in so many formats, and I do think the real winner will always be the company that pleases the end user. I am sure Google and Microsoft have all the phone companies in consideration, and it is only a matter of time until a smarter Android phone is produced that is more user friendly for the internet and the end user.
It is just which company will win the race, and I am sure there is a likelihood of another "non-internet" company joining the race for world internet/phone/news and ad media.

What's The Big Deal About Facebook's Social Ads? Article on Seeking Alpha
Facebook Marketing - It's great that as a business you can become more targeted, especially as Facebook actually shows you how mahy people each broken down category comes from.
I guess only time will tell if Facebook will supercede business advertising in the new future, possibly in the New Year. I do think businesses will hold out for another 6 months or so while Facebook Marketing and Google Marketing are compared moreso, alongside with the other internet and other source media they may use for advertising. More than likely this will result in say splitting their Google Marketing budget with Facebook and using both medias in their own right. Thanx for the interesting article!
