Economic Outlook: Savings Will Soon Drive Increased Spending [View article]
As long as the administration continues the policies as indicated, there is no reason for the consumer to spend or to go into debt as we have known in the past. My advice to the young, Save,Save,Save and put the funds in an inflation proof source. Employment is going to increase and by the administrations admission, energy costs are to increase, this will cause an increase on all other aspects of the economy from cosmetics to food. Save, young people, as much as you can.

I am 74 years of age and I can not offer advice to the young except to spend less and save more. There is nothing encouraging coming from this administration to cause them to do otherwise. Everything that comes from this administration is more of share the pain. The very citizens and non-citizens that this administration professes to help are going to suffer more under these policies. Save,Save,Save and try to place the funds in an inflation protection source, for employment is going to get worse and as inventories continue to drop, shortages will occur and food and energy will be the real pain of inflation.

Unfortunately, this administration is a great job killing machine. I do not understand the following it continues to get from the very unions and workers whose jobs are being eliminated by the policies being placed into force. Trucking, mining, automobile, oil exploration, hotels, steel & metals production, construction, all are blue collar union jobs lost but blindly following the Piper.
The only good news would be if the government would get out of the pocket of the American public. The consumer is the fuel that energizes any economy, but the so called programs and "stimulus" does nothing to leave more of his hard earned income in his pocket. Good news!?!? There is no good news for the young in this country. Welcome to socialism! I'm 74 years old and I can't offer good news to the youth, who will be paying for this government made mess.
