  • Five Rare Earth and Vanadium Stocks That Seem Ready for Another Run [View article]
Michael, your skills are in the "copy and paste" technology. Stick with that angle. The ultimate value in all this nonsense is not in the ore, it's not at all rare. Two things in this whole subject are RARE:
First, it's the knowledge and expertise in bringing the mine to magnets process to completion in a cost effective and environmentally friendly way (China has it half right). Second item that is rare is the overall lack of real in depth knowledge of the entire REE subject.

Why do you spend so much of the article on yesterday's news? Is that the Roger's whose always in the news stressing his opinion rather than the facts? By next week the Chinese New Year will have begun and then watch the price of REE'S take off into the stratosphere.

Amazon will surely burst this bubble with their news Monday. This bubble at best will be nothing more than a pimple.

Amazon is clearly the "Gold Standard" here. When they follow thru with shipping costs the likes of Walmart on all their products they truly will be a "one stop shop".

Sorry Charlie, MCP and China are the only games in town. China is a low labor cost, environmentally immature country. MCP is doing all the intelligent and forward looking things to bring this product and process back home. Time to squeeze the shorts away.

Heavy profit sellers would have been there done that. This analysis is very logical and mathematically sound. By month's end you will see MCP at a new HIGH. It is the post extraction processing capabilities that MCP has developed that makes for a very positive and strategic investment.

  • Why Molycorp Is a Short Through Next Week [View article]
George, between the lock-up expiration and the most recent (fri. 1/21/11) environmental/legal issues MCP'S bubble is bursting. Not to mention their lack of sufficient HREE'S.
Also Great Western Mineral could be a cousin of Ucore.

  • Why Molycorp Is a Short Through Next Week [View article]
Mark's assessment is spot on. He hasn't even mentioned the fact that MCP is very limited in the valuable heavy REE'S, real production is over a year out and major REE users such as Toyota are looking at replacement strategies for their future needs. His accurate reporting is a welcome appraisal in this hyped up pump and dump arena.

  • 8 Stocks You May Profit From Shorting [View article]
Molycorp is all hype. They lack any significant heavy REE'S and are over a year away in limited production. Why do you think this mine was abandoned? Six months ago Toyota was already redesigning out their REE requirements, the WSJ reported Fri. this news as "breaking news". (dah). You have two choices: 1) Join the pump and dump groupies or short it.

  • Top Rare Earth Metals Stocks [View article]
Molycorp is not doubling anything but their marketing baloney. They are primarily a light REE mine abandoned by the US, and are simply using this fear tactic (97% China monopoly) to quadruple their share price (pump and dump). Their production will not materialize until 2012 and they are still constrained by processing, environmental and health issues, which is why it was abandoned in the first place.

  • Rare Earth Oxides About to Become More Rare [View article]
If your into HREE'S then UCORE is the play. Molycorp is more into light and less valuable REE'S and they are way over priced.
Good article Jeb even tho it is heavy on the verbage and light on the specifics.
