  • Pulling The PLUG On The Fuel-Cell Mania [View article]
The author does NOT need luck, he possesses alot of analytical skill along with common sense. PLUG is nothing more than the old type forklifts running on propane with a twist. Another losing trade riding this mania is FCEL.
Some of the investors think they are a similar product. With that Good Wishes to them! Come next week after earnings and the real truth is revealed all the "fast money will be long gone!

  • Ready For A Rebound? Gilead's $1000 Pill [View article]
Amazing, these pills save lives, save $500,000 transplants, and you talk about $30,000. You can NOT get any shortsighted or narrow minded than that!

  • GE exec sees limited, niche market for fuel cells [View news story]
The WSJ last week had a great article on"CROWD SOURCING--AKA SEEKING ALPHA" The article analyzed the blog and the comments that followed. Their conclusion: The people commented were right about the direction of where a stock will go more often than the highly paid analysts on Wall Street.
The above comments are a great example of this dynamic playing out right now.
IMO the comments make more sense that the Alert Briefing above.

  • A Physician-Businessman's Views Of Gilead, With Emphasis On Sovaldi [View article]
Absolutely the best analysis I have read regarding the company and it's risk/reward profile. Not to mention it's hugely positive impact on the "baby boomer" generation and their quality of life, here in the US and worldwide.
As a father of a MD. and knowing what the regimen involves between Medical school and in my son's case a six year residency, plus fellowship, I know what tremendous effort it takes to become part of "alpha-omega-alpha" medical honor society, top tier schools and teaching hospitals.
Your article demonstrates the degree of knowledge and experience that is getting rare in today's world.
Keep up the great work. Yourself and Gilead are true winners here!

  • State Medicaids feeling the pinch from Sovaldi [View news story]
The Alert title is inflammatory and old news.
The bullet points are also non value added information of media points the are not of alert nature.
Where are the world wide cure's positive benefits mentioned, the liver transplant and lifetime rejection meds costs that would be needed if Gilead's cure was not available.

  • Recent Developments In Gilead's Non-Hepatitis C Programs [View article]
Again thanks for another great article.
Last Friday's drop was another buying opportunity. Sales and profits are continuing to climb and a weekly dip in Sovaldi last week is a ridiculous reason to sell.
DoctoRx, keep up the good work. IMO people like you @ Seeking Alpha is why the WSJ a couple of month's ago published a University Research paper proving that Crowd Sourcing Platform Seeking Alpha consistently beat Wall Street analysts in market performance and accuracy.

  • Gilead Sciences May See A Healthy Earnings Beat [View article]
Gilead is "Best in Breed", every analyst, every accredited investor, and every institution knows what to expect based on the facts and data. The above article reemphasizes the future of GILD. IMO the noise that surrounds winners such as Gilead, mostly comes from people who have more mouth than money in most cases.

  • Gilead Sciences' Solvadi Is A Game Changer [View article]
Gilead is "Best of Breed". Everyone else is not through their phase trials nor through FDA and advisory boards. Leave the rest of the wannabes to the herd of followers. The Institutional and Accredited investors have put their money on GILD. Period, now, end of story!

  • Gilead Down On Merck-Idenix Deal, But Little To Fear [View article]
GILD below 79 today is the bargain of the week. For MRK to pay that kind of money on speculation convinces me to completely erase the thought of any investment in MRK. Watch the price action this week and see for yourself.

  • Fuel cell shares finish spectacular week of gains [View news story]
Wait till the numbers come out on FCEL after the bell Monday. Overwhelming will be the description of the substantial losses they typically report. Simply review and analyze the last TEN PLUS quarterly earnings reports and see for yourself what I'm talking about.

Molycorp is merely another Enron. The only processing they're expert at is word processing.

  • Rare Earth Oxides About to Become More Rare [View article]
If your into HREE'S then UCORE is the play. Molycorp is more into light and less valuable REE'S and they are way over priced.
Good article Jeb even tho it is heavy on the verbage and light on the specifics.

THE AUTHOR MAKES HIS SHORT POSITION MUCH TOO OBVIOUS AND WAY TOO BIASED AND ARBITRARY. ALL ACCREDITED INVESTORS KNOW THIS MERGER IS A WIN-WIN FOR ALL PARTIES INVOLVED.
