Stick to what you know best. Judging by how this article was written, you are clearly out of your comfort zone. Trying to be all things to all people will hurt your viewership.

  • Will Freeport-McMoRan Be The Next Commodity Stock To Roll Over? [View article]
you continue to use the 39 years as a reason why you think you'll be correct. there are so many variables that can happen between now and "then" and there is no way for you to account for any of them. as someone who has made wall street his life long endeavor, I can tell you that your chances of being anywhere near correct are probably slim, at best. as a person who has made his living on wall street for many years, I can tell you the best way to continue to do that is not to predict the future, as that is impossible. the best way to do that is to take advantage of the daily opportunities that wall street gives each and every investor daily. why waste your time spouting things on these websites when you actually have no control over any of it and all you are doing is giving your opinion. and being that I, nor anyone else on this site, has any idea who the heck you are and can not give any backing to any of what you say. go get a life.

oh boy, another follower of Dr. Doom. I disagree completely with what you predict as no one is able to accurately predict the future. These doomsday scenarios rarely, if ever, take place. Of course time will tell all, but if what you suggest will happen later this year, we won't have to wait that long to see how off base your predictions are.

Thank you Logan for having the guts to actually go against the crowd. I have been waiting patiently for someone to write an article stating exactly what you have stated. I have positioned my entire portfolio to take advantage of exactly what you have outlined in your article.

I love these fund managers who pick the best stocks and then come out and say these are their best picks. What has Louis done lately? Probably not much.

  • Cliffs Natural Resources (CLF) -11.5% premarket after shares are downgraded to Underweight with a $14 target price (down from $36) at Morgan Stanley. Credit Suisse cuts its target price to $10 from $30, saying CLF needs to raise at least $2.3B to maintain a 2.5x debt/EBITDA ratio. Goldman Sachs' removal of its Sell tag (it's now rated Neutral) isn't providing a lifeline. [View news story]

    Jimmy,

please explain briefly some of the other early stage projects they are involved in and besides iron ore, what those commodities are? Can you also please explain what is the Ring of Fire and do you believe this company will turn itself around and survive? What troubles me is the forecast for the price of iron ore and with the excess capacity coming on line, along with shrinking demand, or that's what I read anyway. What are your views on supply/demand and pricing? Thank you.

this is very worrisome as an investor in CLF. Can you tell me what they are doing to remain profitable and how this company can possibly survive as the price of iron ore decreases? How is Cliff's reducing their costs structure to remain a solvent company in the years ahead?
