  • Market Laggards At Key Inflection Points [View article]
So glad to see an article anywhere that is not telling us to buy stocks that have made 52 week highs. I have been patiently waiting to either read somewhere or hear on television someone to talk about buying the laggards to maximize your investment/trade and at the same time, try to minimize your down side. It amazes me how everyone jumps on the bandwagon of the same stocks and no one has the guts to step up and recommend a stock that has been beaten down but a turn higher awaits. Thank you.

  • More Signs Of Global Healing [View article]
    Cam,

I always enjoy your articles as they are no nonsense and to the point. Please tell me your thoughts on what is going on with industrial metal demand from China and the outlook for the next year for iron ore and copper. Do you believe the curbs on residential property will meaningful hurt demand for these metals? Thank you.

  • An Alternative To Cliffs Natural Resources Common Stock [View article]
    To the Author,

as a shareholder, and a suffering one, of CLF, I appreciate your article. I look forward to more. What gives me anxiety is the recent news out of China about housing curbs and too much iron ore production and not enough demand. With so many different stories and opinions out there on China and their commodity demands, I would like to hear your opinion. Thank you.

  • Americans seem to be on the move again after staying put because of the housing bust and wider recession, with a census report showing that the 50 fastest-growing metropolitan areas last year were in the West, the South, or in energy boom states such as North Dakota. "There is the beginning of a shift back to the Sunbelt," says demographer William Frey. "Many Snowbelt movers who were frozen in place are now moving to South and West metropolitan areas." [View news story]

  • Apple Is Still Cool [View article]
Thank you Jacob for an article on Apple that has a mind of it's own. It is so frustrating listening to the talking heads day after day knocking this stock. And so right you are that when the tide turns, they will all come on cnbc and say how they've been buying the stock since 425. Especially those Fast Money ninnies. Must take a look and see what else you have written about. Way to go Jacob. I knew it would take a nice Jewish boy to make sense of all this.

  • Google Stole Apple's Mojo [View article]
rp-they can't leave apple alone. it's called the herd mentality. they can't be creative enough to come up with something informative and unique on their own. this author and others have absolutely no insight in to what's going on at the company. I am sure the company is not sitting on their hands letting their company go down the toilet. when the tide turns, these authors will jump back on the bandwagon and spout their ideas of what a great company apple is and how they were buying shares at these low prices. you'll see. that is also called the herd mentality. you never make money following the herd.

seems to me that the CEO of this company always backs up his optimistic view. company seems to be very well managed; has their costs under control. a good solid stock to own and I especially like it here under 60.

after having Joy Global's CEO on his show numerous times and touting the strong fundamentals of it, now Cramer decides he doesn't like it. Cramer, stop confusing the people. Make up your mind. Oh, I know why he doesn't like the stock. It went down yesterday.

  • CF Industries: Undervalued Market Leader [View article]
when someone says they provide in depth analysis, no one can do a more detailed job than this report. too long to read right now, but as a long time shareholder of Cf, I can honestly say this is one of those companies that rarely come along that always deliver results and never talk too much about it. You rarely hear it talked about on financial news programs and that's just they way I prefer it. Mgmt has consistently done a great job of controlling costs. Thanks for writing.

  • Market recap: Stocks bounced off lows to close mixed, but the S&P 500 managed to pull off its seventh-straight week higher. An internal Wal-Mart memo describing February sales as a "total disaster" whacked shares ~2.5% and pulled down discount retailers. Gold futures fell sharply to lose more than 3% for the week, prompting prices to briefly breach the $1,600 support level. Crude oil slid below $96[View news story]
late rally? why was there a late rally? answer is there wasn't. maybe the averages moved but nothing that I watch made any move. Most everything I track went lower into the close. In my 30 years of being a trader, I have never seen a market like this. Controlled so so few; so few make money, so many lose money. With averages at highs, don't buy the hype. People are getting killed in this market.

  • Apple's Starting To Look Attractive Again [View article]
as long as Apple is on the tip of everyone's mind and written about by every author on this website, the stock will be dead money. when almost everyone goes away to other places, then, and only then, the stock will move higher.

  • Weighing The Week Ahead: Market Correction? [View article]
to the author-what a waste of time, both your and mine. the most likely scenario is that you'll be wrong and whatever you say will have absolutely no bearing on what I do tomorrow and the day after. who in the world would spend all the time you do writing an article that has absolutely nothing more than your opinion and your guesswork? Come Monday morning I'll be at my desk many many miles away from Wall Street doing what I have been doing for 25 years, so why would I waste my time reading this ridiculously long essay? the answer is that I wouldn't and didn't. The question is my friend, have you ever been at a real job where each and every day you put your money at risk? I'd say probably not.
