  • National Oilwell Varco: Buy The Dip [View article]
a great company, a great investment. I've been buying NOV for years and have a lot of faith in them as they are one of those companies that fly under the radar yet rarely, if ever, disappoint investors. Never in the news, never any scandalous talk about NOV. A great investment and a stock you can own and sleep at night.

  • Why Apple Is Still A Buy Even Though Amazon And Google Have Better Products [View article]
this article says absolutely nothing. basically, you told us what your daughter likes and what you like. from your days on CNBC, you never really got my attention. just too many people writing on seeking alpha and one day no one will come here because there will be better info. as a matter of fact, there is right now. I know I SPEND LESS TIME ON SEEKING ALPHA AS IT HAS BECOME LIKE cnbc. NOISE!

  • VMware Will Ride The Cloud Computing Market Wave In Q4 [View article]
a $109 trevis price estimate for VMW, 30% above current market price. let's see, with the stock closing at $99, yeah, you're right, add 30% and you come up with $109. What? Try figuring again, this time say what you mean.

  • Why I'd Fade This Freeport-McMoRan Rally [View article]
the stock has been crushed and has been a major under performer. a great run? isn't it always like these Fast Money guys to talk how they bought at the bottom and sold at the top. What I want to know is how they have time to run their business when they spend so much time talking on cnbc?

  • Preparing For Apple's Big Earnings Report [View article]
Zvi-nice article but it seems you left out the ending. share with me your expectations when Apple reports. Thank you. My own take is that Apple will report a great quarter all the way around. The stock has been beaten up and I believe we go higher from here.

  • A 56% Q4 rally in iron ore prices has some declaring China back and the bear market in the key mineral over. The price at China's Tianjin port has reached $135.40/ton, well more than double the average cost of production in Brazil (VALE) and Australia (BHP, RIO). [View news story]
hold on. the positive China news keeps coming and as long as that happens, these stocks go higher. right now the best looking stocks are the iron ore, coal names and industrials like Joy Global.

one other thing about what you said, young man. there is nothing average joe about you. what you are doing by writing here and your interest in the stock market is nothing short of amazing. most young people your age are busy hanging out, playing video games. you are on a whole other level. be proud! and keep doing what you are doing. the best way to become rich is to find your passion and stick with it. changing things, moving from here to there, always looking for something better gets you nowhere.

Joy Global is the kind of company and stock both long term investors and traders dream about. I normally trade JOY and I love the stock. I never have a problem sleeping at night. Although we all know anything can happen to any stock at any time, JOY just continues to put up impressive numbers and I never worry that some stupid rumor or "noise" will come out on JOY. The company continues to fly under the radar and continues to deliver solid growth no matter what the economy, the market or anything else is doing. Great stock, great company. I'm sure you can tell how I feel.......I've been watching JOY for years.

Please, stop with this nonsense. let's talk about a different stock for a change and leave Apple alone. You make a price cut to 800 sound like a bad thing. 530 to 800, gee, only a 51% increase? Man, this company must be having a hell of a time these days. What nonsense.
