The Coming Consequences of Banking Fraud [View article]
"Again, when viewed through the “fraud prism”, such activity makes complete sense. It is obvious that the “Rise of the Machines” has created markets that are now dominated by computerized high frequency trading programs that can execute trades as quickly as 0.5 milliseconds and have as their sole purpose the creation of short-term market distortions driven by statistical arbitrage that can be used to game the system and cheat their clients. Though this link describes how this scheme works in commodity markets for those that have been following the New York Stock Exchange, the use of high frequency trading programs to game the system at the expense of the retail investor has been glaringly obvious especially in the trading behavior exhibited this past summer."
I have 7,000 shares of FNM and was wondering how "someone" has been managing to keep the stock price close to $1.68 all this time. Now I know. Thanks for the eye opener. You deserve a Pulitzer.
Bernanke's testimony to the House. Fed is also developing a new website to give taxpayers increased insight into its policies (ready within a week), and will review its current disclosure policies. [View news story]
"The Dow Jones fell more than 350 points as Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke spoke to the House of Representatives about moves to strengthen credit markets and the economy."
That says it all. Every time one of these people open their mouths the stock market goes down. These people are a bunch of idiots. They are destroying this country. They think they can fix the economic problems of the country with our taxpayer money and without our consent when they are the very people who helped ruin it! I hope this country does collapse because of their stupidity in running it. Then we can start over, without them and their central banks that never worked other than to fleece the American taxpayer. And while they're fleeing the country, they can take that dumbass Communist President Obama with them. That idiot couldn't stimulate the country out of a box.
Bottom line? Most, if not all of these people and our goverment are guilty of treason. They betrayed our country with their socialist policies and they all should be tried before a court of law!
Could a Markopolos Blog Have Stopped Madoff? [View article]
It's obvious to even the most casual observer that key members of the SEC overseeing New York City were bribed by Madoff, the father of the brokerage kickback. Nobody can be that stupid and blind.
It's only a matter of time before some of these people involved start mysteriously disappearing, commit "suicide" or have "accidents". Madoff isn't wearing a bullet-proof vest to and from his court appearances for nothing.
I also don't doubt that Madoff was probably doing a whole lot of tax-avoiding money-laundering for some of his "investor" friends while ripping off the suckers. What a way to launder money. And we've yet to hear exactly where all the money went to. I'm still waiting.
$50 billion dollars vanishing into thin air and not one peep of where it all went to and we're led to believe that one man made $50 billion dollars disappear all by himself with no help from anyone? Moohahahaha.
It took Andrew Carnegie the last 18 years of his life just to give away his paltry $350 million dollar fortune (he died before he could give it all away) and we're led to believe that Madoff got rid of $50 billion all by himself in probably the same amount of time? Hello???
We sure can't expect the current administration or Congress to investigate. Half of them can't even do their own taxes and the other half is too busy ripping off trillions of dollars from the American taxpayer in their own Ponzi scheme! Moohahahaha. All hail Comrade Obama!
Good visionary article. If the current administration had any vision they would have set aside a portion of the infrastructure rebuilding funds to create a huge water-holding reservoir (or regional reservoirs) near the Mississippi to store, divert and control the yearly floodwaters that flood the states along the Mississippi and cause billions of dollars in damage every year.
Then, either a main pipeline or several smaller ones can be built running west or south from those reservoirs. The water can then be piped to the Southern and Western drought states into their water/irrigation distribution systems that desperately need the water for their crops or even for drinking.
Most state governments are continually whining about balancing their state budgets. Now, here's a chance for them to all get together and cooperate in an endeavor that will make them as much money as Big Oil makes. I also don't doubt that the same water running though those pipes can also be harnessed to create green energy as it flows through the pipes.
Or, they can just continue letting these floodwaters cause untold billions of damages year after year and let the water continue to run into the Gulf of Mexico to turn into salt water.
Based on how the politicians and government leaders are currently running our country into the ground I doubt that they have the brains to make this happen. Besides, who would want to create a whole new industry, create thousands of new jobs and make billions upon billions of new dollars flow into the economy? I'm sure Canada will outsmart our stupid politicians and do it first. Then we'll be beholden to them for a foreign water supply.
The only way I see a visionary project like this ever happening is to throw out ALL the incumbents from government office first and start with fresh idea makers. Do you agree?
U.S. Mint Actions Discourage Gold Ownership [View article]
The government outlawed private gold ownership once before. Who says they can't do it again and restrict ownership for strictly industrial purposes, especially when they force us to sell it when we go to a cashless society? The exchange of money will be strictly electronic debiting, from the workplace to the home to the marketplace. We won't even have paper money.
If you don't think it will happen, think again. They already took away some of our constitutional rights and now they are stealing us blind and we are just sitting here and doing nothing about it, so no weeping and gnashing of teeth when that day finally comes.
When that all happens then you'll really see how the government can create "money" virtually out of thin air. BTW, the government I'm talking about will be the World Government, not the US Government.
How Many Madoff Red Flags Can You Count? [View article]
Not that I'm on the side of Madoff, but how do we know that any of the "investors" weren't in on the scheme with Madoff laundering the money for them and funneling the cold hard cash back to them, tax free? Maybe those organizations and investors were also on shaky financial ground and this was their "way out". Maybe the ones running these banks and organizations were good buddies with Madoff. Maybe good friend Madoff took the fall to save their hides knowing his life is almost over. (he's 70) Maybe he took the fall to just stay alive or even keep his family alive. You don't rip off that much money and stay alive, you just don't. That's another clue that the others were involved.
I find it hard to believe that all these billionaire financial-type people, organization and bank investors invested billions of dollars into one company that had only one actual auditor. Something stinks to high heaven here and it isn't just Madoff. I also believe that many in the SEC were paid off to look the other. It would be very easy to corrupt them when billions of dollars were involved. The government should look into their finances too, though I doubt it because they're pretty busy being involved in their own $700 billion dollar heist from the taxpayers to pay attention.
I think many of those people running all these collapsing banks and corporations have systematically been plundering these institutions for a long time and now that they are all getting caught the government is looking the other way, especially the federal law enforcement agencies who are supposed to be protecting us. They're in on it, too. Thieves and liars, the whole bunch of them.
Out of the tens upon tens of thousands of employees employed by the FBI, the SEC, Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigative Division, Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigative Division, Postal Inspection Service, Secret Service, Financial Crimes Enforcement Division, the Federal Trade Commission National Association of Securities Dealers and the myriad of other untold numbers of federal law enforcement agencies, nobody saw a thing, nothing. What a joke our law enforcement agencies are. Now you know where your tax dollars are going...besides in the pockets of the corrupt politicians, no where.
Oh yeah, Madoff operated alone, just like Lee Harvey Oswald. (wink-wink) LOL
Here's a real life gold story that actually happened. I thought I'd throw it in here. Enjoy.
Back in the 1960's, my uncle-in-law (he lived at 2764 N. Weil St in Milwaukee, WI, second house south of what was then a corner bar) was metal-detecting in his back yard with a White's metal detector when it went off near a stone bench. He started digging and hit a cloth or leather bag. When he opened it up it contained numerous gold double eagles from the 1930's. He again searched the yard with the detector and got a hit on some more metal. When he dug, up came another bag of gold coins! These were probably buried by someone during the Depression who didn't trust banks. I don't think he ever spent those coins because he was afraid the IRS would confiscate them or heavily tax him if they found out.
(Our government's greed knows no bounds. Right now the Democrats and the Republicans have divied up $700 billion of the taxpayer's money under the guise of a "bailout"; $350 billion for the Republican's term and $350 billion for the Democrat's term. Who says there's no bipartisanship? They scared us into giving it to them under the threat that we'd have a depression if we didn't. At least that was their reasoning. Of course our reasoning was they flat out stole it from us without our vote. Taxation without representation. So I don't really wonder why the former owner of those gold coins buried them in the first place. We get the picture 80-some years later.)
Anyways, getting back to the story, he held on to those coins until the 1990's in his safe at home until he was diagnosed with Altzheimers. He then went to King VA Hospital and died a year or so ago. I don't know what ever happened to those coins nor if there still might be more gold coins still buried in that back yard down in Milwaukee. I can imagine that if there were any still there, the owner would be a rich man.
Either way, even though he had all this gold, it never did him any good in the end, or anyone else, for that matter. The moral of the story is that even if you have the actual physical gold, you can lose that as easily as if you had it in the stock market.

Zi Palestine,
Innocent children, women and men? LOL. Don't make me laugh, my lips are chapped.
Palistinian children are brainwashed from a young age to hate and are trained to kill in terrorist training camps along with their parent's approval. They are not innocent like you claim. Let's talk about the real terrorism in Palestine (and in other Muslim countries); female genital mutilation of young girls, forced marriage of young girls as young as nine, legalized pedophilia and child rape (child marriage), honor killings, public stoning and chopping off of hands and feet and floggings for minor infractions and, of course, the old standby, suicide and homicide bombings and lately, random and indiscriminate firing of missiles into civilian areas. All in the name of the false god, Allah.
Of course, you probably already knew that. Which ones are you guilty of, since you stated that I'm guilty of terrorism even though I don't adhere to the above practices like most Muslims do?
Mad rabid dogs are exterminated, not coddled. Look what happened in Europe; those dumb goverments let all those Muslims in because the immigrant's own people were persecuting them and what have those ingrate immigrants turned around and done since they got there? Bombing, rioting, protesting and destabilizing western society. They've proven, time and time again, over the centuries and throughout history, that they are a bloodthirsty and war-like people. Europe will rue the day they let the Muslims in to their countries. Their European ancestors died to keep the Mongel and Muslim hordes out and their own governments betrayed them and let them in.
Palestinians are nothing but biological remnants of past invasions into Canaan by the Egyptians, Persians, Arabs and Islamic cultures. Modern-day Palestinians have no more claim over the ancient lands of Canaan than anyone else. They have more claim to the area more than anyone else.

Considering that Egyptian authorities are fully aware of numerous tunnels along their border and the Gaza strip which are being used for smuggling weapons and missiles into Gaza to be used against Israel, who are these closet terrorists to be brokering any peace agreement?
I think that Israel is doing a fine job of bombing these tunnels and Hamas targets and wiping Gaza off the face of the map and at the same time killing terrorists and would-be terrorists. It's about time that someone started killing the families of the terrorists and the people who allow the terrorists to launch missiles from their neighborhoods. This will help cut down future terrorist attacks. If most everyone is dead or hungry and wounded they won't have time to terrorize. This policy worked great on Lebanon. You don't see those people sending rockets into Israel anymore, do you?
Now Israel needs to work on those who are supplying these terrorists; the Iranians. A few well-placed bombs/missiles into the heart of Iran (especially the nuclear sites) will help take the wind out of their sails.
A well-placed missile on the palace of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (pronounced: I'm mad in the head) would also help curtail terrorism.
I'd like to see China even try economic terrorism against the US. When the Western world stops buying their products they will be reduced back to a Third World country. I've already stopped buying any Chinese products if I can help it. Most of their products sent to the US already contain numerous deadly chemicals and poison and it's obvious to even the simple-minded FDA officials that the Chinese are already systematically poisoning our children with lead, melamine and other deadly poisons. So they don't have to start a war with us, they already have, by targeting the next generation of Americans, our children.

I think the one big mistake Madoff made was to take money from the Russians who probably had ties to the Russian mob. The Russian mob and big business in Russia are intertwined (Kind of like our own government) and you don't steal from them and live.
Why else does he have armed bodyguards everywhere he goes? His sons who worked with him (who had no knowledge of what their father was doing (wink-wink) will probably be found dead in an alley sometime in the future and Madoff will probably be shanked in prison.
But, then again, maybe Madoff was working for the mob and his other rich friends who "lost" billions, laundering money for them through his investment firm and conveniently "losing it" in the market, knowing that the US government would pay out for the losses while the SEC officials were all paid off to look the other way. Now that would be a scheme. Then the money would be secretly funneled back to all his friends. 10 bucks says Madoff will disappear before trial, flee the country and disappear, rumored to be living somewhere in Russia.
Only a fool would believe that all these rich billionaires gave billions of dollars to Madoff without checking out his background. We'll probably eventuall find out that half of them were in on the scheme.
I think he did a very good critique of your arguments and I don't see where he attacked you personally at all.

Madoff Case: The World's Biggest Ever Heist [View article]
What can we learn from all this? Don't trust others with your hard-earned money and that especially includes the U S government. These people are the biggest thieves and leeches in our society, not just Madoff. Technology allows us to do our own trading with online accounts such as Scottrade, etc., so you have no excuse if you get ripped off. If you have so much money that you can't handle it yourself, then you have too much. If a person or a group allows another person or group to hold that much money without auditing them even once in all those years, then they deserve what they got.
If our country ever collapses from all these politicians ripping us off, it will be like in the French Revolution, these people will be hunted down and executed by the angry mobs. Remember that lawyer several years ago who ripped his client off, hiding behind the tree and dodging bullets his client was trying to pump into him and caught on camera? Picture Paulson, Dodd or Reid or all the other thieves in our government in that scenario.

"I really wonder, are they intentionally shrinking the money supply? Are they intentionally trying to increase the Fed into more than a lender of last choice that will hold the keys to the economy maybe forever? Are they intentionally bankrupting the US and robbing taxpayers to pay their friend's largess"
I believe they are intentionally doing it, but not necessarily for their friends. In order to usher in the New World Economic Order, America must be brought down to an equal economic footing with all the other countries. No more soverignty.
What's a better way to collapse our economy? Drain our resources with an endless war, huge transfers of money to other countries, an unprecedented and a purposely-created economic crisis with attached bailout and viola, eventual and inevitable economic collapse.
It's my belief that the current administration, the upcoming administration, the U. S. judicial branch, legislative branch and executive branch are all guilty of high treason and conspiracy to commit high treason. There is no other explanation for our current troubles. Either they are guilty of gross criminal mismanagement and stupidity or they are ruining our country on purpose to accomplish their NWO goals. Any fool can see Congress sold out this country a long time ago and continue to do so.
The sad thing is we can't revolt because we sold away our right to do so under the guise of national security. Just try to flex a muscle against our entrenched police state and you are branded as a terrorist and carted away. We sold our soul to the devil and now we must pay.
"This description of a sovereign state is denied, however, by those who assert that international law is binding. Because states are limited by treaties and international obligations and are not legally permitted by the United Nations Charter to commit aggression at will, they argue that the absolute freedom of a sovereign state is, and should be, a thing of the past. In current international practice this view is generally accepted. The United Nations is today considered the principal organ for restraining the exercise of sovereignty." (freedictionary.com)
I can't do anything about these big CEO's and their cronies in the goverment who are using our tax money to play the stock market with the US taxpayer's money from the largest illegal heist in world history. We keep telling them to put the money back but they just laugh in our face and keep spending it. They stole it with impunity and now they're squandering it with impunity. It's almost like they all belong to the same Bohemian Club and all just happened to go "bankrupt" at the same time. (wink wink) I even saw Obama flash the Il Cornuto sign during his campaign, just like Bush and many other Presidents have done over the years. You'd think they all have the same agenda the way they operate together so smoothly during the transition.
All a poor soul like myself with only a few grand in savings can do to get back at them and to get some of my stolen tax money back is to just keep short-trading the SOB's on the stock market, taking a few hundred here, a few hundred there for the rest of my life UNTIL THE DAY I DIE. I almost feel like Robin Hood, taking from the rich and giving to the poor.

Madoff Case: The World's Biggest Ever Heist [View article]
If our country ever collapses from all these politicians ripping us off, it will be like in the French Revolution, these people will be hunted down and executed by the angry mobs. Remember that lawyer several years ago who ripped his client off, hiding behind the tree and dodging bullets his client was trying to pump into him and caught on camera? Picture Paulson, Dodd or Reid or all the other thieves in our government in that scenario.

Bailouts: Unfair to Non-Bailees [View article]
All a poor soul like myself with only a few grand in savings can do to get back at them and to get some of my stolen tax money back is to just keep short-trading the SOB's on the stock market, taking a few hundred here, a few hundred there for the rest of my life UNTIL THE DAY I DIE. I almost feel like Robin Hood, taking from the rich and giving to the poor.
Won't you join me?
