Will Google Sidebar Tip the Odds in Favor of RSS Over E-mail? (GOOG)

RSS is still going to take sometime to be recognized. I think as of now its advantageous to have the RSS automatically fed in the side bar so that the user can have a fair idea on the advantages of having it and looking at it they can figure out more easily as to what RSS actually is.

In the long run I dont think its a good idea to have it automatically include it.

Google Launches Sidebar - Product Details (GOOG)

The google side bar is a great improvement on the previous version of
the Google Desktop. Interesting thing about is that you can add and
remove and also develop components in it. For example the TO DO List ,
itunes player control etc etc. However there is a lot of scope for
improvement and adding a lot more features in it.
