China: More Trade Tensions

Michael, First of all let me say Thks for all the great articles you publish. I have been living in China for a number of years and always find you're stuff very provocative and well thought out.

I think the cultural change required for a massive uptick in domestic spending in China is a generation away. This will be a slow process. And I don't believe the rest of the world can wait this long for the mercantilist(did I say that?) policies to end.
