I started my career with Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner and Smith in 1971 and after one year became the commodity manager of the Honolulu Office. Left MLPFS in 1974 to join Bache, did some trading on the CME and CBOT. Moved my career to Portfolio Monitoring and Investment Manager Selection. Moved to AG Becker-SF in 1983, from there several stops along the way in management at Coen & Co and institutional sales at Paine Webber. Back to Merrill in 1987 and remained there until 1994. At Merrill I had numerous management positions culminating with the SF Sales Manager. Quit management and formed a high net worth group trading portfolio for high net worth and hedge fund managers. Joined a new hedge fund in 1994, WISE Capital Management which traded in Risk Arb and Savings and Loan Conversions. Quit in 1999 and opened Investment Tracking Services after getting my CIMA from Wharton. Developed a model presently used that has out performed all indexes with focus on non-deviational returns.
