I'm a 23 years old accountancy student, and have been investing in stocks since 2001. I obviously haven't done so well, since I've been living on student loans and part-time jobs ever since.

After yet another dismal year in 2007, I quit stocks all together, until I came over a a few books written by the Fisher's (Philip and Ken Fisher). Since then I've been doing a little better, but it could be all due to luck.

I try my best to follow the advices of the Fishers and Benjamin Graham, and hence avoid short term trades like the pest.
