  • Big Players Buy Up Gold [View article]
Keep in mind that, as the middle class is fleeced of their remaining wealth, no wealth is destroyed, and thus the demand for stores of value, like gold, will remain or elevate. Oil may see some weakness, but not gold. We see this going on on a daily basis. Russian ships being mysteriously hijacked, and then not hijacked, and inordinately large helicopters sent to rescue the crew... Hmmm. Now India making purchases on grandios scales. I would not be surprised to learn that Fort Knox actually has gold in it these days (we are buying it back). Wouldn't surprise me to discover our own government participating in the fleecing.

Another awesome article by Schiff! This one is particularly timely and right on the mark. God help us all, because the Obama administration cannot possibly do the right thing.

  • Dollar Forced to Abdicate Its Throne [View article]
There is no more hope that the US will change it's habits than there is in Crazy Crackhead Joe changing his. They are both hopeless addicts. The investor is better served by accepting and dealing with the inevitable, rather than hoping for some pipe dream.

That is a very interesting viewpoint, and one that I think will come to pass, eventually.

He can't be too smart, he labels himself a democrat. I wonder if he cheats on his taxes like the others. The IRS should check into that.

  • The Currency Cabal [View article]
    Bravo, John. Another well-written piece.

I have been planning around the obstacles that come with our flawed monetary policy. So far, it has been a profitable endevaour. (Although I fear for the average American's net outcome). Consistently, fleeing America has yielded fruit. Low hanging fruit relative to opportunities here. Certainly, holding dollars is contrary to the profit motive, and possessing dollar-denominated debt is positive. I have to wonder - if I am doing it, how is it that foreign entities are unable to make the move as well? Are they all shackled together so tightly as to act as a single entity? It certainly looks like it.

Meanwhile, gold and oil have proven to be very valuable investments, as have mainland Chinese manufacturers.

But I think it is now time to ponder the next step, else we not stay completely ahead in the game.

  • Bernanke Being Rewarded for Failure  [View article]
The intelligencia who predicted this bubble, and its bursting, no longer speak in present tense when speaking about how we must curb our ways. They now indicate that we are past the point of no return, that no correction in policy will rescue our sorrys butts. I came to this conclusion years ago, extrapolating based upon the path of every demcracy before us. The trend will continue until it simply cannot be hidden any longer. By then, the theives will have escaped with the loot.

America was raped of all of its resources, right in front of our very eyes. Few saw it coming, and they were ignored by the dirty masses, who were too busy remodelling their new McMansions.

  • Should Bernanke Be Reappointed? [View article]
You know what though? I'll play this game with ya. A parent brings their kid into the doctor. The kid is eating chocolate and sugary candies like they are, well, entire meals. The kid is bouncing off the walls. The doctor prescribes meth for the child. The child goes into cardiac arrest. The doctor puts the paddles to the kid, brings him back, gives him a candy, and sends the child and parent off on their way. The doctor pretends to be smug - "I saved another child's life".

    Yeah, right. Not impressed.

  • Should Bernanke Be Reappointed? [View article]
This must be some kind of a joke, a sarcasm, like Gulliver's Travels. No one with even a little knowledge of the world and its markets would espouse such notions, much less express it in metaphor as if the audience were children..

  • Microsoft: Every Dollar of Online Revenue Was Wiped Out by a Dollar of Loss [View article]
This has to be the most alarming news to cross the financial wires in 20 years. Why isn't it making a bigger splash in the media? Did the steel and rubber companies go quietly at the turn of the century as well? Yes, yes, I know there are still many years of profits ahead. But still, this is your sign - Smoke em if ya got em.

  • Health Care Bill: Prescription for Disaster [View article]
Actually, making healthcare a constitutional right (which it is not at this time) might fix the problem in it's entirely. Bear with me. The federal government and states are not required to provide these rights, merely to not stand in their way or interfere with them. Were healthcare access a constitutional right, then many of the federal government policies and laws would become unconstitutional. Regulations over drugs and medical procedures and devices, for instance. Prices for these things would plummet once the HUGE regulatory environment is removed. A doctor would suddenly be affordable once again. So would drugs and x-rays. It would be legal for a nurse to recommend antibiotics. I used the word recommend instead of prescribe, because you would not need a prescription to get drugs, and all drugs would be legal. It's a right! Just imagine! A constitutional amendment would force the government out of our healthcare business and fix the problem once and for all.

  • Why I'm Shorting DeVry [View article]
Your ranting and name-calling does do much for your street cred.

I did not bash tradermark. I bashed technical analysis. You took it personally and let loose your "cannons of war", LOL. You do need to see someone about that, as I know enough about human nature to know that you have likely lost your flower-imprinted hawaiian shirt in the market. 1000% gains are the claims of schysters and carnival barkers, and people with money do not casually engage in slander or libel. I also know that, in a couple of years, after you have lost the last of your family's money, you will cry out for a knowledgeable investor to train you in the basics of making (slash not losing) wealth.

I'll be declining your plea, thank you very much.
