Short and long term investments and trades. I buy significant support pivots, and trade intraday through 3x ETFs as well, especially the TNA/TZA combo, based on established resistance and supports. I generally do not hold a stock if it falls though the pivot more than 1% I do my best to middle them with very short term targets- 1-4% but am not afraid to hold the bag when I know I have a good long. My interests cover all sectors. I thrive on big ideas, but am not afraid to trade charts and news. I also truly enjoy hunting down and exposing the poor track record of supposed experts, and believe that a trader's recommendations largely help predict his future predictions. I strongly believe that those who write articles for well respected sources like Motley and Alpha should keep their own money away from their microphone, and that the article writing traders are the last and most successful breed of pump and dumpers, and that they should all be brought to their knees and run out of the business. My current market thesis as of July 31.2012: We have entered another speculative patch, gold is leading the market, and without affirmation of a strong stimulus from ECB/the FED we are headed right back to the mid 12000s, and with the Euro zone in a liquidity crunch things could get MUCH worse. I strongly believe Greece will leave the Euro and don't believe it is ever "factored in," so true investors will be at a disadvantage to traders, but there are still long term value plays out there. I believe the miners are rather oversold, and that stimulus will make them bounce like crazy, so NUGT will be a good play when the money printing begins, but wait to read the tape. I am also fascinated with the potential of graphene, and find pricing on CVV to be very appealing despite the giant short manipulations over the last several weeks. I am subject to change my mind at the drop of a hat on any position, so would take most of my ideas on a short term basis and with a grain of salt, I am newer to the business than many traders, despite my right way calls. My greatest successes this year have been on PRKR, SPRD, AIRM, from the sell off, AAPL, and on the short side- FFN, FB. My greatest failures this year have been UHAL, and MCD on 'pullbacks' which just kept pulling back.
