  • What the Solar Industry Wants in a Climate Change Bill [View article]
Contrary to the many doubters out there, solar energy alone would be able to provide energy to power not one full blown population, but twenty! Of course that would require the "dreaded" grid (that most enviros use but still want to restrict more of). Of course, this would also require the LiFePo4 battery to be mass produced at a cost at about 100 times cheaper, and of course this is all impossible, not because of technical difficulties, but of obvious political difficulties.

The robotic automobile line proves that all these UNLIMITED energy collection and storage devises could be mass produced on that order.

Is there anyway to demand solar on the large and cheap?
If so, please expontiate that social solution as the energy gathering devises shall do themselves!

  • Green Stimulus by Nation [View article]
Without green thinking, the peak oil awareness would not have come to (my) mind. Therefore, without renewables, what will we do when oil goes back up to 100 or 200 a barrel? Suffer even more than we would now for the cost of green, most probably. Now is the time to build billions of mirrors for concentrated solar thermal plants with heat storage. It seems that would create a jobs frenzy, then oil will go up (due to better economy) even though with massive renewable energy influx, it seems it would go down!

Bty, I heard that the polar ice caps are melting. Mirrors not only are able to generate unlimited clean energy (keep them post driven without bulldozing the desert), if enough are mass produced (yep, we need more oil for that too!), along with seawater greenhouses, ALL of humanity's problems would be solved (except for who gets to make what, where)!

  • The Differences Between Chinese and U.S. Economic Recoveries [View article]
It is easy to be persuaded into believing that GW isn't real. There's a graph that states Antarctic cap to have grown quite considerably last year (only?). But today I learned a new term. Cherypick'n. Anyhow, I guess China will be the dominant leaders (because their system isn't a bunch of IOU's) in RE. I don't think they are doing it for the sake of "global warming" either.

We need to build giant turbines based on vertical axis "drums". Even though much "slower", these monsters could each deliver on the GW scale, and start up in less wind! (I heard China is in on that too??? MWTT). Automated PV factories are a necessity. It seems a bit of a conspiracy theory that they are not already dirt cheap (use robots). And we need to employ CSP which bty really can provide up to 90% of baseload power once the transmission upgrade is complete (assuming new lines in the southwest and over sized heat storage).

Enviro's need to care more about all the damage POST OIL CRISES will do than worry about pretty lands and their backyard.
