  • How the Federal Government will Lose in 2009 [View article]
Our policymakers do get it. They line the pockets of themselves and their friends as they make the laws that alow for such action to take place.

Well done Rob Viglione, well done indeed. This is the first write up that I have seen on this subject that is right on the mark. Stating the truth is not fear mungering which is most of what is posted here I believe by people that have made bad investments and need to use fear to dump their bad cup of coffee on the next guy. Best of luck to everyone.

jetway, I don't even have to read your entire post to see that you don't have a clue. Tell me again why we let Osama go and went after Saddam? In short it was a move on oil that will cost our children both with their lives and from their pocket books. Are we safer, I don't think so. To me you sound alot like a fear munger.

THANK YOU MICHAEL FITZSIMMONS AND CAPITAL PAINS!!!!!!!!!!

I am from Texas and I can asure you that George Bush has done business as usual from the office in Texas to the White House. It is just more Bushshit. I can only hope that more damage will not be done in the comming weeks before he is ousted. To those of you who think I am on the attack, I can assure you I am not. I think Bush would be a great guy to sit around a campfire drink cold beer and tell lies with. It is a shame to see so many people already placing the blame of all this mess on Obama's sholders saying it is Obama that caused all this for the last 8 years. WOW where do these people come from?

  • 3 Gold Miners That Stand to Sparkle from Growing Demand [View article]
auto44, this is true, however for someone who may have limited funds but would like have a chance of great returns, mining stocks are sometimes the way to go. GLD runs at about 1/10 of true gold price, so one could buy alot more of that etf then they could the metal, lowering their risk but not really raising their reward target very much. I guess that depends on the type of trader that you are, and I will not even try to tell someone what to trade.

  • 3 Gold Miners That Stand to Sparkle from Growing Demand [View article]
All I can say is WOW!
First off I really believe that if you write and article, however you define "Article", you should not be pushing and stock, maybe a sector, but not a specific stock. It seems to me that when you push a stock or two or three, it is because you have stake in it and hope to drive up the price thru someone else’s excitement. Yes I do believe that the mining sector in gold and silver and several other minerals’ are ready to start a move back up after a sharp correction, but I will not call out any one stock over another. The likely hood that I or anyone that writes articles here would pick wisely for you is like throwing darts 20 feet at a wall of stocks on post it notes. I do agree with one post that this article is a bit late, but historically AUY tends to jump ahead of the game, I do not follow the other two listed. Perhaps they are an indication that these sectors are about to move as a whole. I for one stick to charts for most of my decision making processes for buying or selling a stock, and could list many miners that appear to have bottomed and are beginning to move again, but as I stated it is not my place to push anyone to buy anything.

  • Don't Miss the Coming Gold Bull [View article]
Magnet, to my knowledge and I am not the most read in this area, but in order to pay for the war machine and bail out all these failing banks and companies, money is printed and then loaned to us by the Fed. , which is not even part of the US Gov., but instead a privately held firm. As this money is printed and infused into the world market it devalues by default existing dollars, kind of like supply and demand. I believe that the above article spoke of how the banks and governments are stepping in to suppress what is really happening to the USD but at some point that will most likely fail and things should snap ahead or back to where they should rightfully be. I am sure someone that is more in the know could add a lot to this. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Well I see where you are comming from on the gold issue. I dumped out of all my positions almost 9 months ago and am just now starting to convert my cash back to gold and silver stocks. Now as far as Obama running up our "monetary expansion to finance its debt and deficit spending" have you missed that last however many years of Bush doing just that with little good comming from it? Don't take me wrong I love my country but if you are going to attack please do so fairly. Good luck on the stocks you are looking at and happy new year.

  • Gold and Silver Prices Will Begin to Shine [View article]
I would say that the US Gov. will do that only when the right people are going to get their pockets lined by doing so.

Just to put in my few cent's, anyone can write anything on the web, you should know up front that when you read something posted by someone other then yourself, "THAT IS YOUR WARNING!" Just read the post make up your own mind about what is said, and don't just start buying stocks because Joe Smow said so. Good luck to all.
