    John,

I agree. Axion would not have spent the money to create finished goods without a client to purchase them.

Price parity with AGM leaves little room for Axion to profit from their IP and the fabricating of the electrodes.

It seems to me that regardless of who puts the battery together Axion should be bringing in the better part of $100 or more for a superior product.

So given all the apparent work that has been going on to perfect the process it might explain the second shipment from Kurey.

We should of course expect that a considerable volume of carbon sheeting has been produced of marketable quality and is now in storage. That is of course the optimistic approach.

Either way we should keep a sharp eye out for the next shipment(s) which will signal, fingers crossed, a new supply contract.

Banks in Iceland were deregulated on about 2001. After that they started to make hugely levered loans. Eventually the 3 largest banks were nationalized. Thousands of depositors were wiped out. The country almost went bankrupt.

  • Why Batteries Are Too Valuable To Waste On Solar Power Integration And Electric Cars [View article]
So my simple question is, What happens when a Tesla is on the road/highway and is too far away to recharge?

I had a friend who was stranded near London England a day or so ago in -6C conditions for 7 hours. He was in a fully fueled rental car and managed just fine until the road was cleared. What would have happened to the car if it had been a Tesla with a less than optimal charge? Would it have just shut down eventually to save its battery or would it have sacrificed the battery in order to serve its driver?

Utopia without doubt. The luck of geography.

Norway is blessed by hydro, off shore oil and gas, a small population and a government policy that saves their pennies for tough times unlike just about every other country on our planet.

I am of Swedish descent and am seriously considering buying property in Norway as a hedge on the off chance the rest of the world goes down the toilet.

Norway is similar to Iceland which has thermal power stations. No wonder Iceland is a major site for computer server farms. Energy costs are very low. Pity about how irresponsible the government is/was regarding the banks.

    Why?

If the PbC is a superior product, why should it not command a premium price?

Apple as an example was able to command a huge premium becaust their products blew all its competition out of the water. So too AXION with the PbC.

Nope. There are a few Prius and one or two jeep like vehicles but I don't know the make.

Nissan vehicles are sold here e.g. Quashquai.

Few in Bermuda have a garage.

We pay $0.43/kwh. No reduction for off peak.

    0 duty on electric vehicles.

Of course there is a huge cost to ship in vehicles as most are manufactured in Japan.
