  • The Coming Consequences of Banking Fraud  [View article]
    to the author:

an excellent well written and convincing article. I was one of those people who drank the kool-aid glass and pitcher full. I no longer trust the MSM to tell me the truth when my own eyes tell me different. I have 2 friends who have had a small business for over 15+ yrs, they are desperately trying to preserve their employee's jobs.. they have trimmed the pay, the hours and cut health insurance for themselves so that their employees could continue to have it at its full benefits. Well, they are finally at the point that they are convinced the christmas sales are going to be down much much more than anyone in the MSM is telling.. but they see their foot traffic.. they see the shops ard them are closing or shrinking. Unfortunatley, they will have to lay some people off, and cannot hire any seasonal people for christmas.

I think people know in their gut the fraud that is being perpetrated on them by the govt and the treasury.. they have taken $ from the taxpayers to make fiancial companies that screwed up big time whole again.. and the people like my friends who actually make something.. they produce something were/are screwed! they talk to everyone.. people know this instinctively...and this banking fraud will come crash this house of cards very very soon.

thanks again for the great article! will be forwarding it to many people.

  • The Coming Economic Collapse, Part 1  [View article]
great article, am looking forward to reading the second part...

I can tell you as an immigrant, over 15 yrs in this country, I have noticed a big shift. I am originally from Asia and recently become a citizen of this country.

I went to an engineering graduate school here, when I was in graduate school I noticed 15 yrs ago, there were many asians(nonamericans) in my classes BUT there were a good amount of americans as well. I happen to have a friend who is now a professor who went through graduate school at the same time as me, and he has noticed that the shift in the graduate school, now over 90% are NOT americans, and many many are asians (nonamericans)either from India or China. He noticed this shift was very prominent about 10 yrs ago, but this professor has now noticed in the last 5 yrs or so, more and more chinease/indian students are staying in their homeland as opportunities have increased there.. OR they are comning here, going to engineering grad school here and returning to their homeland.

I would urge the author to look into this, in the 80's 90's there was a huge influx of asian immigrants, engineers, who came to this country, and settled here that led to some of the biggest techonlogy companies being built and grown.
BUT now that;s shifted , they are either not even comning in such high numbers (b/c of increased opportunities in their home countries) OR they are returning home after getting educated here.

This "brain drain" in the technology sector will surely have a detrimental effect on the economy. Would appreciate comments on this. Thanks.

can't stand most of the talking heads on CNBC.. but that does not apply to Rick Santelli and Charlie Gasparino..

the only 2 people on that lame network who are worth listening to... and who are saying what we the american public is saying.

(and I am pissed about this housing bailout! I did not buy a home in 2006 b/c I could not afford it... heck.. maybe I should have .. especially now that I know the government would have taken care of it!)

  • Populist Pandering Won't Solve Crisis - Less Regulation Will [View article]
    good article...

"We can either let free market principles preside. Or we can have a dysfunctional financial structure that is highly regulated by people who don’t have the capacity to understand exactly what it is they’re overseeing.
    "

yep... that basically describes what I was feeling watching those idiots ask the bank ceo's questions.. I turned it off after 5 minutes.. if I wanna watch entertainment, I'd rather watch a show where at least I am not paying their salaries.

  • Geithner's False Assumption - Rebuilding Securitization Market Is Good for Economy [View article]
    great article...

pretty funny... 2 of my friends had the same experience the same day..

one goes into Bank of America to deposit some money, on the way out she is stopped by one of the BoA employees, who was at a booth, and was pressing my friend to open up a credit card account with them.

Then my other friend, she has an acctn with citibank, the same thing happened with her.

they are both now saving more and really not interested in more credit cards.. in fact they are cutting back a lot.

what amazes me is all these idiot politicians were yelling at the banks that you are hoarding cash and not lending to people.. have even considered that maybe people like my friends, and I am sure millions others, no longer want that debt, they don't want to borrow more money, no matter how much it is shoved in their faces?
