  • The Next Leg of the Crisis: Unavoidable Catastrophe [View article]
Should the dollar collapse, America is the last place you'd want to be. My reasoning is simple. The citizens of most countries have experienced difficult times. Think of Russia not long ago where people would get on long lines and wait hours without knowing what was being sold. Think of China & India where huge portions of the populations are still living in poverty and those who've escaped still have the memories fresh in their minds. Only Americans have an incredible sense of entitlement with no concept of what it's like to really suffer when the necessities of life become unaffordable or disappear altogether. This is why I see a frightening future. Americans are not going to deal well when the sh*t hits the fan. I see riots, looting, and violence in and around most urban and suburban areas. Only those in America's rural areas will get by because they'll grow their own food and sell the overage to those few who have the gold and silver to pay for it.

  • Another Reason Why America's Glory Days Are Over  [View article]
What's it going to take for Americans to realize that our government sold us out along time ago? When are we going to wake up and kick both major parties out? Time is running out and we only have ourselves to blame.

Ron Paul (an American hero) and those who share his views are the only people who can save this country from our corrupt government. If Americans really want a change they better start voting Libertarian (yes, I know Ron Paul is a republican but his views are Libertarian). The dire situation is only going to change if you start voting for the party that understands and respects the Constitution & the Bill of Rights.

  • Pleasant Surprises This Earnings Season Will Lead to Unpleasant Future Surprises [View article]
    Dear Mr. Kim,

Please keep your so-called negative articles coming. Let the financial media educate those CNBC watchers until they learn that being gullible and lazy guarantees their financial destruction. In the meantime, those of us who appreciate your insights can steer clear of shark infested waters.

  • Five Predictions for This Market [View article]
You're right that sooner or later we will get a fairly nice rally. That's gonna be a perfect time to buy all those proshare ultrashorts I missed the first time. Why waste time hoping you'll pick the stocks that will rise? It's so much easier to buy the ultashorts on any big rally. You're sure to triple your money as soon as the market crashes again.
How do I know this is the right strategy?
It's easy when you watch congress and our newly elected president. It's obvious they've learned nothing and will continue making stupid decisions that will end in a bankrupt America and a worthless dollar.
Clinton started this mess, Bush made it worse, and Obama is proving that change isn't necessarily for the better. I only have one more thing to say. Where is Ron Paul when you need him?

  • U.S. Dollar: The Trade of the Decade  [View article]
Keep dreaming. I'm not so sure the rest of the world will continue to trust the biggest debtor nation (and getting bigger every second) in the world. Why should they continue to fund our debt? Why help us overspend to maintain unrealistic living standards for Americans? Why wouldn't they change direction and start producing goods that are desired by their population? Why wouldn't they want to raise the standard of living for their people? Why not sell their goods to people who have savings and can actually pay for the products with real money as opposed to our IOUs (dollars)? Let's face reality, we're a country of debt ridden spenders. We produce next to nothing but we consume everything. It's sad but true and therefore in the long run the dollar is toast!
