Will China's Ideological Crisis Overwhelm Stimulus Spending? [View article]
The above Canadian newspaper, The Province, said in its May 12th issue that Rakesh suffered a stroke in March, and lost use of his left arm and side. He appeared in court in a wheelchair. I hate it that he's not posting articles now, as he was one of my favorites. I hope his medical and legal issues end up being resolved such that he has much to look forward to.

Rakesh--Enjoyed the article. When are you going to post again? I am in dire need of a fix. I'm concerned I may have withdrawls if no posts are soon forthcoming (just kidding). Although some of what you write typically goes over my head, I also learn much from your writings. I also very much enjoy articles on SA by Greg Weston,Andrew Left, John Lounsbury,Steve Hansen, Thomas Ryan, Charlie Bottle and Vinod Dar. I received an MBA from a small accredited university in south Texas several years ago, and although I got a lot out of the program, the reality is that you and the other names I just mentioned have it all over the faculty at grad school, in my opinion. Keep up the good work and thanks for all you do. Prox.

Rakesh---You have indicated that your preferred investment style is short sales. Just curious, if conditions improved, say, several years out and a bull market in stocks likely, would you still be most comfortable focusing on opportunities in the short sector? Or would you look to go long? Just curious---if you happen to read this comment. Thanks, PROX.

I concur with author's analysis (as usual). Regarding the Author's Reply, I am not convinced that any Obama bounces are more than likely this month. His election may have given infrastructure plays a little gas, but beyond that, I don't see him providing any relief.
