Deregulation brought Trillions of dollars north to the richest 1% through systematic deconstruction of rational regulation over 30 years. Since Gov't is a true redistribution force, shouldn't it spread the wealth? Absolutely. For people who have money, it's easy to lay claim to mythology of capitalism. Trust-fund babies made it the old fashion way, didn't they? Maybe Money's false nature should be replaced with barter? Regardless of whatever system is put in place, unless there's adequate safeguards to spread the wealth, slaves, indentured servants, workers will not willingly support and trust it. They'll rip it off, just as the "true-believers" in "dog-eat-dog" do. So recapitalise, but pass down the favors, otherwise the house will have to fold its cards, too.
There's plenty of money and plenty of people worldwide and trillions of dollars of every imaginable currency and civilization isn't at a standstill. It's like we have the plague; people get wiped out; we recalculate and start over; the serfs and whomever inherit the earth. whatever the end game, whatever the " money-standard", life will go on and the until we decide to change the game,or mostly all die from some unknown cause, nothing will change: some will be poor, some rich, some so-so.

Materials will rebound as bottom is past. Large miners with tons of cash will rebound quickly as demand will increase dramatically and survivors will quickly ramp -up production. In the supply and demand game, the supplier has stronger hand; China will blink as supplies shrink and Miner's stocks will begin a rapid rise. Much of the hysteria surrounding markets will begin to abate. CU, AL, iron-ore, basic materials will soar.
