  • Will Nokia's Recent Asset Sales Pay Dividends For Investors? [View article]
The sources you link here are not exactly representative, neither is your conclusion that the "920 is tanking quickly". The "drastic" rebates you refer to are about 30$ price reductions most probably driven as price competition between Amazon and AT&T, not by Nokia. The one link you included referring to "abysmal reviews" is the most unprofessional article I have read over the whole past year, written by an obvious other brand fan. Not very helpful information...

  • Can Nokia Pull Ahead Of Research In Motion? [View article]
For meaningful future business the consumer market is where the real battle is taking place. RIM has no foot on the ground there. In the corporate world most companies are moving away from BB as soon as they see BB's secure email is no longer a differentiating factor. More importantly most companies that use BB for the reason of secure email services already allow the same workforce to bring in consumer devices like iPhone, Samsung and Nokia - this is unstoppable as people prefer to use devices that are user friendly and innovative.

  • Nokia: So, How Are Lumia 920 Sales Going? [View article]
For the same reason Nokia kept selling well initially after launch of the iPhone in 2007 - brand perception.

  • Nokia: What Does The Future Hold? [View article]
Let's not interprete the figures with negative glasses on ... Nokia is in transition and has brought out a range of new devices. It is natural that sales of current devices reduce after announcing a new model. Sales of the Lumia 800 was affected after announcing the Lumia 900, and sales of the Lumia 900 was affected by announcing WP8 and the Lumia 920. This is called continuous innovation.

Also note that at Amazon the Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 are the only devices with full 5 star ratings!

  • Nokia's Burning Cash On Its 'Burning Platform' [View article]
If the SA site would have an entertainment section this type of article should go there.
Note that Saibus Research converts to U.S. Bias Research.

On a serious note a decision as to go with Windows Phone is not just taken by the CEO but the whole board of directors. It was the only right decision, and Nokia will survive through this - I expect there will be some very exciting new products coming to the market during the coming 6 months.

These are old figures including also NSN covering network services. Nokia's mobile products business has less than 40000 staff spread over the globe.

  • Nokia World's Lumia Launch Is Another Elop Flop [View article]
Funny how I immediately recognised the writing style as from the infamous Tomi Ahonen - who is obsessively stalking Nokia and twisting facts in disrespect to the strategy the company has chosen. He has something personal towards Mr. Elop.

  • Nokia And RIM: Death By Drowning, Death By Fire [View article]
Any article starting with "I love companies that are in control." tells more about the low journalistic skills of the author than about the actual subject.
